How the hell is this map still in the game? Every time I get this map, my loading screen is so abysmal and long that by the time I’m finally done loading, my partner is already dead, or out of CD’s, and I can’t even see anything to react or try to save them.
This happens every single day I try to queue. This was a problem earlier in BFA, it got pulled, then kinda fixed, and now it’s bad again ever since 8.3. If you cannot fix this map Blizzard, get rid of it.
loads fine for me, just get a SSD.
Yeah, I had to buy a $20 SSD just to put wow on for this map.

I’ve lost about 100 rating because of this map in the last few days. Only one I have an issue with, my arena partner too. Sometimes the enemy also.
It seems like it would be an easy task to remove it out of the rotation, especially since it’s rated. Frustrating. They removed one before in WOTLK. Had rising and falling platforms and fire. Pets would bug out all the time.

I’ve noticed that the first load in is bad for me. If I spam click around it helps, but the second match is a semi load screen but I normally make it in at the 25 sec mark.
Yes, this is my experience as well. It’s always the first time I load into Hook Point within a 24 hour period. The next couple of load screens cut it close. And it’s the only map I have ever had such an issue with. Every other map, I’m in very quickly.
It dosent happen every time but there is always a load screen issue. I did lose a game the other day because one of our members didnt get in for 30 sec or so after game started.
What I do now if possible is before I sign up to doing ranked I run a few skirms to get that map and the horrible first or second load out of the way first.
Do you have an SSD
I’ve never missed Queue on that map and never seen an enemy miss it either. It’s 2020 guys. If you don’t have an SSD in your pc yet with how cheap they are, then you are really sleeping hard. I’m not even running new hardware. I have an i7 4790k, GTX 970 SC, 16gb DDR3, and a 1 TB SSD… I’ve never had an issue running wow on Max settings at 1080p and all of my loading screens are fast as hell… To add to that, I live in the country in BFE, Kansas. The internet here isn’t great.
TL;DR,
No excuse to not have an SSD in 2020, especially when WoW doesn’t really have any hardware demands to run. SSDs are fairly cheap and pretty easy to install by yourself.

I dont have an ssd u guys just need to scream when ur on the loading screen. Makes ur pc work faster. But on the real i should probably buy an ssd soon…
Just buy this that I have, probably the best one on the market outside of the pro version that is slightly better.
