Correct, if they doubled RP and didn’t double decay, we’d be quadrupling ranking speed, to 3 weeks for R14, I believe.

Yes it is 6 weeks at 10% decay with standard RP but not double RP.
So back to my question, where’s the evidence of 40% decay and double RP? This seems horrible for anyone that misses a week, but it’s beneficial for consistent players.
There was a huge thread about it a while ago. It is the only way things work out to double ranking speed, other than 10% decay and standard RP.

but usually you get a little bit above 13k RP, usually 13024 depending on the difference of bracket 13.

That’s exactly 26,000 RP which isn’t the likely case in a practical sense
Usually you earn 13,020+ in standing 1

First of all it is 26000 RP per week max in Bracket 14 and you can’t get more than that.
When I was ranking to HWL on classic I was receiving 13050 + RP in standing 1.
The relationship between HONOR and RP are linearly dependent on the brackets surrounding you. If bracket 13 has a large discrepancy between your honor and theirs you get more RP.
