Honor Points reset to 0 after serving 8 day ban

The point stated is plausible, he’s all the way at the bottom of the map completely away from the rest of the raid eagerly zugging Vann. Teams win pulls without even burning towers nowadays.

I actually do the same thing, I mainly do anything I can to slow down the horde because I want time for towers to burn. I am often alone in this or it’s just a few. A 7 minute game with towers still up is pathetic honor. A 10 minute game with towers down is 500.

So much hostility in here it’s sad.

Guilty until proven innocent then?
Hope y’all never work jury duty.

but that’s what you do in team-based activities: what the majority of the team wants.

do you ever see soccer players stop running around and trying to build a sandcastle instead?

Sure but most of the time you also pick your teams and who is on the field. (Or they pick you). A better analogy to AV would be if you have ever played paintball as a walk on. Its exactly the same chaos.

Now I’m not saying anything about the OP’s specific situation. I’m saying reading that blue post made me go hmm that’s what they consider non participation. The blue didnt say pressing space ever 30 seconds. He said solo defending a tower. That means even if say there is opposition there. And you kill them all solo.

it’s a very gray area and entirely up to the … puppetmaster … to decide yay from nay in terms of what ‘participation’ is. i am staying far away from that dumpster fire.

i appreciate the intent to let teams have drive - it will lead to more organized play. more quality play. On the other hand, moderation in a subjective space is bound to piss off someone or someone else.

Yeah. I would guess is it is a little more nuanced.
But I was truely just surprised by what they said.

Try actually helping instead of sitting in stealth somewhere.

Defending Drek’thar in AV is basically not doing anything useful.

Don’t be so sure. A well placed cyclone can reliably wipe them.

I’ll have you know when I was a child I got bored of the baseball game I was supposed to be participating in so I sat down and drew a baseball diamond in the sand.

this very old piece of history covers the AV “Defending” quite well - Alliance perspective

Lol, the ban is obviously not enough. I still see way more afkers every day.

He got reported because he was defending. Tbc was the xpac horde cared less of winning and just wanted to rush for the quick losses.

If u defended u were immediately ridiculed and mass reported as afk.

Well, OP was found guilty and now he’s trying to convince us he’s innocent. Different kettle of fish.

However, if you automatically sympathise with “the little guy” in a he-said / she-said match where no evidence has been presented, then I genuinely hope you never get called in for jury did.

Remarkable that you have so many examples of your unfair treatment at the hands of other people. It’s almost like there’s a common denominator…

You can be reported when defending a base. I was called AFK like 3 times when guarding a tower in EoS. AV can be riskier because so many morons are in there, who don’t understand back-cap or defense.

Any word yet from blizzard on why? I’m not hopeful they’ll give you an answer, but that’s beat to steal your honor like that.

Defending dreks room as rogue is quite bad. I would say you should keep defending your towers and ignore the room, else you make yourself a target because… what are you doing in there vs 30 people? It’s not like you can frostnova them.
