Honor gains are not good

10 minute queues. 15-25 minute matches. 100-200 honor for losses.
No way you can expect anyone to actually queue that type of mess.

Wait until some weirdo starts preaching about how you need to “EARN” the gear by playing 16 hours a day everyday… that’s what us pve players have to deal with all the time

Blizzard QA emphasized changes to make MoP classic alt friendly, so I would keep reminding them to hold them to that sentiment, not just for rep gains. Gearing multiple characters would be an atrocious grind without having a constant premade, and even then takes more time than it should

Gear shouldn’t even exist in PvP, glad we have to go through this same song and dance twice in a single life time.
I still can’t believe they rating locked gear TBC - CAT…wtf.

Give it like 2 weeks when more people are level 90.

This. These no-lifers crack me up. Living in their own little world.

I won’t be playing more than 1 character in MoP because of how slow the honor gains are, especially with everyone playing Alliance.

I had a feeling this was going to pop back up.

When blizz buffed honor gains in prepatch, it was buffing them from this level, and they did say they where putting the values back for launch.

I agree it felt super awful in prepatch before being buffed, but the prepatch buffed rate was honestly far faster than it should be for “normal times” (in prepatch it was fine, as a means of catchup gear)… If they do any buffs to current honor rates it should be something more in the middle between the two prepatch states.

That said, this is only going to further cause horde to quit if 90 bgs are anything like prepatch bgs where. The faction imbalance means horde is gonna lose a ton, and that means even more games for them to gear up. I did ALOT of bgs both in, and just before, prepatch, and I can tell you in no uncertain terms that the situation is bleak. Constant premades, a full on third of the games at the minimum where either backfill into stomps or outright “alliance gy camping until horde stop rezzing” level stomps. Two of my last three wins involved me going a combined 75-1 just to barely drag my team to a win (the 34-1 game was basically me solo carrying, the 40-0 game was me doing a damage carry with an exceptionally talented mistweaver pug straight hard carrying the healing) … Never once did horde gy camp the Alliance in any of the roughly 100 bgs. What I did see plenty of, was horde just crashing out on both mop and pvp in general. Wait 15min in a bugged queue just get thrown into a 5th bg in a row where your faction can’t even leave their gy. Hard to blame them.

I always come back to it, but “fair, fun, and Rewarding” is what pvp needs to thrive. Emfh and faction population distribution isn’t fair, getting gy camped constantly isn’t fun, and with super low honor gains it also isn’t going to be rewarding.

Blizz gonna keep sitting on their hands pretending it isn’t a problem, but the “best pvp xpac in the game’s history” is going to keep bleeding players from horde, and gimpy honor gains isn’t going to help.
