I would prefer this honestly. I agree with Scotty.
Montgomery Scott consistently made the seemingly impossible happen just in time to save the crew of the Enterprise from disaster. The premise is simple: 1) Caluculate average required time for completion of given task . 2) Depending on importance of task, add 25-50% additional time to original estimate.
You answered your own question. Smaller companies. Smaller/less problems. Bigger companies bigger/more problems. Live in the real world. And tell your mommy to change your diaper it seems to be full.
Exactly this. The fact that >200 people have knee jerk reacted by liking this post blows my mind. They might as well just say that every Tuesday the game will be down for the entire day.
They obviously have things happen that are not expected that then need to be fixed.
That is nice, but that is not a program that Blizzard has. That is not what the forum MVPs, esp tech/cs, are for. There is no âvoted on repâ sort of position. Heaven know what the right position would be based on forum feedback. heh. Whatever one group likes, another hates. Whatever someone thinks is fun, another thinks is boring. What someone else is upset about, someone is thrilled with. Players rarely seem to have a united point of view, and if they do the JOB of the Community Managers is to capture that feedback for the Developers. MVPs are not there to do the job of the Community Managers.
If you want to take up that role you can. You would be just as effective as MVPs are. We donât talk to Devs either. Only the Community Council even has a slight chance of that. Really, the role you speak of is the job of the Community Managers who collect the feedback.
Totally agree this game has been out for how many years but yet maintenance gets longer and longer. But yet you go play ff14 or any other mmo the maintenance takes them 2 to 3 hours tops not 8
