Holy pallies using Divine toll while holy locked

Also Buff Mistweavers and resto druids

But it stops the channel

I mean, I agree here as well, but probably not what druid/mw’s want to hear.

Druid: Increase the bonus for when lifebloom is purged/dispelled. Adjust some mana costs down a tiny bit. Maybe the tiniest buff to rejuv itself.

MW: Adjust mana cost on some abilities. Their burst healing is actually really good, its just that they oom pretty quickly and their burst might be outshined by Divine Toll and/or radiance. Also increase the absorb amount on cocoon, but do not reduce its cd.

More than that. Make expel harm actually do something. Lower the cooldown of paralyze. Make roll remove snares baseline without having to equip a legendary. Buff ironskin brew substantially

You had some good ideas but Mistweavers need more than just slight mana cost reductions

Also buff mistweaver damage. They should do comparable damage to holy paladins if not more

See, I feel paralyze and imprison by DH is low-floor gameplay and shouldn’t be in the game to begin with, at least not without a cast time.

Trap by hunter is instant, but it has a travel time and its often easy to miss. So there is valid counterplay there.

We’d just have to agree to disagree.

I mean, they might. I propose small-ish tunings and see where things land. I would be nervous that with the same strength as some other healers, they would once-again be uncatchable, unkiteable, unkillable monsters like they have been in the past. Especially when paired with melee cleaves (turbo etc.)

Right now I’m watching Cdew, who is pushing duelist on his MW while bored and still in blues. Its very playable, although outshined by paladin like everything else atm. Venruki I think is also having fun right now on stream playing MW.

They should be able to do decent damage when they need, I agree. But in BFA wasn’t their one pvp ability absurdly strong, and an ez win on anything stunned at 60% hp or something? We’d have to watch that.

I think being able to contribute damage (like pal/sham/disc/holy) is reasonable, but it shouldn’t be too strong.

That’s a disgrace that you would use Cdew as any indication of class balance

If anything, I believe that Cdew is willing to work outside the box and not necessarily just choose the same talents/pvp talents that might have worked last expac. (I personally wonder if tons of MWs are doing exactly this and not seeing the results they are used to seeing.)

I get it, that he’s one of the best healers in the game. Not good to necessarily compare him as an image for all of us, but I just mean that he will have zero problem pushing his monk to r1, probably this weekend.

I actually think Blizzard is working on the development of a new class or something. The radio silence from the devs and the small infrequent changes make me think they’re really busy.

Bard class incoming.

How/why would you think these changes would affect anything at all? HoTs don’t heal. That’s everything wrong with resto druid. MWs have no healing cooldowns outside of cocoon/aura mastery. That’s everything wrong with MW. Period.

Its blatantly obvious these suggestions were made from someone with an outside PoV who has never touched those specs this season, or maybe ever.

Well if you really think this, then we can 100% totally scrap druid for the entire expansion. Might as well just grey them out at our hero select screens. Blizz doesn’t completely rework a class/spec mid-expansion.

I’ve played about 70 games in 2s this season with my irl bud, who mains MW. We had over 50% winrate, despite being affliction/mw. In the end he rerolled to pally, but it wasn’t because of the healing. Its because he went oom.

MW’s die in stuns, its true. So does shaman.

But hey, you do you. Have any suggestions?

Get off the forums and l2p the actual game instead of trying to be a pseudo dev to classes you don’t even play.

Gonna have to ask you to link your MW please. I’m willing to bet I’ve played more games with mw this expac than you have.

Just like Hpals in BFA casting Vitality Conduit after getting kicked. No other healers can do this even Holy Priests can’t. But Hpals somehow is fine to do this

Nothing new here

Crusaders might lvl 15 talent also reduces lockout duration on holy for only your holy shock spell btw

Shhh don’t tell anyone.

MW die in stuns yes, Shamans… no Shamans simply don’t die in stuns and are arguably one of the best healers this expansion.

Uh, who is it that argues this? Do you go around arguing that restoshams are one of the best healers in arena?

The real problem with healers atm (imho) is that pally outshines everything. It has the most buttons it can pressed while stunned, least mana issues, least things that have a castbar (almost as good as rdruid in that department,) no counter to ult sac, no counter to divine toll, etc.

If we managed to tone down hpally a little bit, we’d have a much better picture of what actually needs to be done regarding balance.

Only in 2s where the game is slower

Not even close. Divine Toll/Radiance = Revival by comparison

I’d like to compliment you on your optimism. Really. Zero hyperbole / sarcasm here.

I, on the other hand, feel like I’d cross out the last two words of your quoted text and replace them with ā€œwoefully understaffed and/or wholly disinterested.ā€ But I’m a jaded ol bastid, so there’s that.
