They have gone about this very strangely. They tease out this “thing” that is going to be fun for “everyone” forever ago and we get no info because it’s a bit of fun. Cool, don’t really have a problem with that since it’s probably just some quest thing. But where is the information on literally anything else? Nothing about Season 4, no real class updates or changes (for both PvE and PvP), a hilarious lack of updates for M+ and raid. Just because you want to keep this thing in 10.2.6 secret and fun doesn’t mean you can’t talk about literally ANYTHING else with the game and that is where people are getting frustrated.

Such a shame Blizzard doesn’t have their own communication medium to communicate their thoughts/ideas…like a forum or something…maybe even an application where their various products and services can be launched and interacted with.

This is unironically one of the most balanced WoW seasons we’ve ever gotten, though.
It’s not as good as the end of DF S1, but it’s a hell of a lot better than whatever the hell we got in DF S2 after 10.1.5.

Yeah. If anything, the lack of communication is just making people uneasy. This next patch will probably need to be something truly special, otherwise they are going to catch some serious flack. I’m…keeping my expectations extremely low.

I’m not honestly concerned too much. We’ll see when it comes out. It’s not a major patch so I’m not expecting anything huge.
They swung too far in the direction of no news. They can do these things but need to give bread crumbs and they could totally be talking season 4 right now without ptr.
Just out of curiosity, what news do you want for season 4? We know it will be a fated season. So other than those details, what are you hoping for?

Most of the community would love to know if it’s 8 DF dungeons or all 10 for starters.
I think most tank players would like to see some communication regarding the insane amount of control vengeance has with double CC sigils. It was a concern during the 10.2 PTR and surprising no one it is a real problem in the live game and never got addressed in any way.
I know I’d like to see some active balance going on, tank and healer DPS balance would be amazing considering the top tank DPS (also vengeance) is miles ahead of everyone else. I’d also like to know why obvious issues this season with the dungeon pool have never been addressed (lashers and dogs activating on death affixes for starters); also the Fall 2nd boss is STILL double tapping people who are stationary when dispelled. We’re currently sitting on a 3+ key level difficulty difference between dungeons which has been ignored all season.

I just want the blizzard quality to return, it feels to be gone for such a long time. I’d rather the devs take their time to polish/deliver. But we honestly haven’t had that since legion, I thought WOD was the wake up call since legion delivered so well, BFA things were plenty(being good is subjective) but I found BFA season 1 and final patch very fun. SL-DF feels awful, I’d rather go through BFA again it was at least consistent.
I’m very skeptical about this upcoming surprise patch, will it be buggy/messy? Or just a short reclaiming of Gilneas length? Or a polished fun adventure. Found out next time on dragon ball z!
I just want retail back on track with the consistency across the board 
from support to content release.
