Should’ve been another forbidden reach with a bunch of mindless npcs to slay for more pixels, absolutely no one ever has asked for a low barrier to entry solo pvp mode. Can’t believe blizzard is doing something nobody wanted when instead they could have just copy pasted a bunch of pve assets and kept the playerbase engaged for 72 hours.

I think this is actually a smart choice for performance to not have it in the current Open World.

I hope you’re wrong (you’re probably not)…but if that’s true that means that yet again mechagnomes will be excluded from wearing a mog because it will turn into a diaper. Why do you hate us Blizz? WHY?!

LOL? I fully support you enjoying this game mode but this comment is SO funny! By definition (Player versus Environment) this game is more PvE than PvP, especially “originally”. You could not level through PvP until a bit into Wrath. And until the advent of War Mode, as many if not more PvE servers existed.
Enjoy PvP, just don’t rewrite history in the process! Have fun with Plunderstorm! 
10.2.6 should be about current expansion or player progression. I just like playing wow be cool if they came out with new stuff to make my experience with wow better. If you’re going to make a new game mode don’t call it 10.2.6 when it doesn’t progress my character or the story line. Just say we don’t have anything for you to do in game right now here is something to bridge our content gap here is a new game mode but so t call it 10.2.6 esp when it is here seasonally like wtf.

My first thought when I saw this was “Look a proving ground to test new spells and abilities before bring them to live.”
Second thought, Wow Fortnite. Boo. Why was this tied to a patch instead of its own release. Honestly, as part of a patch it, why this couldn’t have been added as another BG option or something that uses our existing characters. You can still strip abilities and have the same concept but then it would be part of the “official” game and not a one-off.

The people being critical of this update: “Wow, this content is disappointing.”
The people defending it: “Ugh this community sucks. PvE players big mad. People are only upset because they suck.” Etc, etc, etc.
It’s focused on the content on one side. On the other it is focused on ad hominem attacks.

Its also leveling the playing field for everyone, since every can acquire the same skills.
I don’t care if pvp improves. If pvp vanished from wow today I wouldn’t give a single care. I’m not saying it should, I’m just saying I don’t care about it one way or another. I’d be willing to bet I’m not alone in that stance either.

Because this is not wow pvp like what we currently have.
This has no classes, it does not work like wow pvp.

This isn’t traditional PvP.
I’m sorry, but you aren’t dealing with a Demon Hunter blowing meta out of the gates and pressing a few buttons and farting all over you in seconds.
This seems more in line with just silly fun and player-versus-player is in the mix.

Any PvP better than no PvP which is what you have right now - game feels awful right now in the other versions - because its boring same old stuff year in and year out
I may not be tops when it comes to pvp my hide is old not as quick as I used to be but boy this will be fun I’ll run around in Boomy form with a macro Eat Moar Chiken.
I looked at the rewards and none of them interest me enough to try a game mode that doesn’t appeal to me.

Except this is nothing like wow pvp, saying this is working to improve pvp in wow is like thinking making improvements in CoD is going to make your games of chess better.
