But yeah, with tokens being so cheap these days:

Do a few quests and then use the gold to buy the relics. It’ll take you under an hour from start to finish instead of doing a week’s worth of dailies. The relics are super cheap now, and will be even cheaper once phase 2 comes out.
Working a reputation purely through quests (because it was too stupid to have a tabard) takes a painfully long time. It may be more ideal to spam whatever junk item they want. In this case it is the relics that drop in storm peaks and those dungeons.
Just a reminder the helm and shoulder enchants are BoA as I realized after having spent 2k gold on turn ins for my first alt.

Legit without buying tokens? A few weeks of solid grinding and doing all of the dailies…
It took me a couple weeks from the day I started the quest lines to when I was exalted with them. Mainly because I have a fulltime job and couldn’t always do the dailies.
If you’re overburdened with gold and would prefer not to do quests, buying the relics is a perfectly viable option. But if you’re not rich and/or you don’t mind questing, the dailies will net you a few hundred gold per day.
i did both , some dailies plus bought the last ones , depending the gold you are making . either way you can have the cheaper one , until the final version
Took me less than a day lol from Hated to Exalted. The longest part is doing the whole quest chain that enables Hodir rep. Then just token your way up to exalted. Easy.
I don’t remember how long it took me but I never did the one where you gotta punch the drake in the air and I usually skipped the one where you follow the wolf to kill just because it takes too long. Anyways Id estimate it was a month. I got a few turn in from looted tokens but I wasn’t paying 4 gold or more each for them. That was over a month ago not sure what they cost now.
It’s about 2-3 weeks if you don’t buy any tokens, it used to be much longer.

Yes. Relic of Ulduar, specifically.
Buy the relics. Unless you play on a weird server, they should be around 40G/200 relics.
Since people startet boosting/farming Halls of Stones, relics which already where on a steep decline due to the enchant being account-bound (even on different accounts if on same battle net) dropped to rock bottom.
10 relics=500 reputation, so you dont even need that many of em.
Lot of misinformation in this thread, but it took about a month purely through daily quests to get exalted for me as a human toon.
Note that once you hit exalted on one character you never have to do it again. The enchants are BoA.
