Why not? No one here is playing with the same graphics settings they did 15 years ago. Heck wonder how many of you noticed that Ray Traced Shadows is in the graphics settings. This is something I would really like to see and hope they add. But to be fair, it should be a opinion in the graphics settings for those who don’t.

I have played with “classic” video settings since the stress tests 3 years ago. Modern settings look abysmal. The water looks more like oil. Also the modern models are dreadful.

Sadly I don’t see them doing this.
I really enjoy the new Tauren models (Part of the reason my forum avatar is a new model in pretty transmog) but as much as I enjoy it, I don’t think blizzards going to do this. Even as a toggle that you have to opt into. :\

Yeah don’t like that at all.
Would love to have that ability. Never played Retail after Panda’s, but saw the models look really good now in current retail. Really wish they would give us that ability to use retail models, or classic models as a client side option.
As long as it was optional I would be fine with that, one of the biggest reasons I love the classic era is the quaint graphic style. There are some races in retail I can’t even stomach playing anymore because of their updated look and animations. Completely my opinion though.

Hard pass. New models dont fit the wotlk game world and generally look bad.

I would be interested in seeing a higher quality version of the current models, basically a new coat of paint using Wotlk era textures rather than the new models that came with overly bouncy animations.
