I’m not sure if this interaction occurs in every spec/affinity but when in Balance Spec, Guardian affinity, the effect of Incapacitating Roar will not go through Parry/Dodge modifiers. Meaning a rogue with evasion can dodge it, and a monk with turbo fist honor talent channeling Fist of Fury will parry it.
This is an important spell in the Balance toolkit in pvp. With the season approaching fast, this really needs to be addressed before Tuesday.
My belief that this interaction is a bug or the result of improper coding comes from the fact that Warriors Intimidating Shout is not able to be parried, or dodged no matter how high the targets dodge/parry chance is.
Idk if its improper coding, but it does not make sense, how can you parry a shout? Also fist of fury godly aoe damage while parry everything AND slowing to 10% speed
You shouldn’t be able to parry or dodge a shout, I’m not sure if it’s still bugged as I’ve not played my druid in pvp for a week or two but I’m assuming it still is
To begin with, this thread is over six months dead. Anything over a few weeks should not be responded to and instead a new thread made. Necroing threads is bad.
Secondly, this may gain a little more traction in the druid forum, perhaps the PvP one as well.
