Many players are pushing rating right now in hopes of earning end-of-season rewards in Cata. Unfortunately, flyhackers are actively cheating and disrupting the PvP ladder. These individuals are sitting at high MMR and are on track to receive titles they clearly didn’t earn. Despite numerous reports, they remain unbanned. Blizzard, please take action—your community deserves better.
They are constantly name changing and changing servers. Please, please fix this Blizzard if you care at all about your PvP community.
Good luck . I am 100% convinced that Blizzard no longer bans people aside from language/chat bans because it’s an automated process if someone reports you
On retail we have a guy teleporting around the map with a lag switch in arena resetting his CDs infinitely, even admitted it on these forums said he doesn’t care, reported by dozens even high rated retail streamers encountered him and he’s still running around unbanned. His guild name is literally WE ARENT GETTING BANNED
I guess using the lag switch causes your buffs to freeze, this person does it on Aug with the time skip ability and that fully resets everything. Over and over. In between they are teleporting around the map and sitting in time stop unkillable
ah its been so long since lag switches i forgot what they did its insane that he does it so openly and nothing happens to him
people i played retail with got banned for using a rotation bot(didnt even know that was a thing) so they do ban for other reasons just not as often anymore
That’s the biggest load of Blizzard has been slinging as an excuse for years. They likely have internal data showing when the best timeframe to ban bots is. Ban too quick and the bots wont turn a profit and won’t make new accounts. Blizzard 1000000% is thinking with their shareholder’s interest when they do ban waves rather than quicker bans. It’s also why they got rid of GMs.
There are streams where you can see proof of this happening, but Cataclysm is abandonware for community as well as technical support - the RBG bracket is so small and there are still groups blatantly wintrading with no action taken against them.
Both flyhackers are still unbanned and on the ladder. They are both nearly 3k.
This is incredible that they played the entire weekend, constantlying Qing into top rated, AWC players, on stream, and did not get banned. They were reported well over 100+ times from the community and they DID NOT GET BANNED.

These players are doing this during the end of season arena push. The importance of banning them ASAP cannot be understated. They are actively griefing 100+ players during the most competitive part of a season. A ban wave is completely insufficient here. It should’ve been a manual ban the second it popped up on a stream. We had multiple people in the community reach out to blizzard reps but “nobody was in the office” so they spent the entire weekend terrorizing the ladder.
They would fly hack and be unkillable. You either had to leave the arena or wait out 48 minutes for the timeout. Because timeouts don’t lose MMR, they eventually climbed to the very top of the ladder.
