The 137.221.68.81 IP is causing me a lot of issues in game. I’m having random lock ups and it’s making raiding, grouping, and Torghast incredibly painful or not doable. It’s been happening every day since Friday. Is there anything I can do?

A quick whois for this IP shows that it’s a Blizzard owned IP.
What makes you think that hop is causing any problems? It looks ok to me. Your ping time increases significantly there but I think you’re going from east to west coast at that point. I’m not sure where you got that IP you are going to, 24.105.30.129 is located in california but you should use 137.221.105.2 to test your connection to west coast realms and 24.105.62.129 for chicago realms. Area 52 is a chicago realm.
What exact problem are you experiencing in game? The game is locking up, like the screen is freezing? Is the game crashing? Or just abilities are taking a long time to go off?
The IP came from this thread from a Blizzard employee: Screen Freeze kinda - #2 by Jambrix for a player that is on a CT server.
Yes the game is freezing for up to 5 seconds at a time but usually smaller intervals and then most abilities that I pressed happen. I can’t reproduce atm to test the IP you provided because it has improved for the moment.
Ok - yes well that is definitely a blizzard owned IP address, I’m not sure why the blue gave that one, perhaps a mistype, as it is different from the ones listed in the winmtr instructions, and while I’m not absolutely certain it sure seems like it is located in california.
