This is the first night of this happening again. However there is a huge lag spike going on and from all my friend who Century link they seem to be having the same issues again.
Hopefully just a one time thing and not 3 more months of the issue again.

I have been having all sorts of latency spikes with centurylink as of late.
This is getting old, i dont even have Century link and get the same crap, my route goes through them however
Welp century link shenanigans are back…I have worse ms now than when this was happening to me a couple months back. 880ms when I logged in 30min ago and tried to raid.
Back for me again, as well.
I noticed issue with higher world latency this afternoon but tonight in raid I was rockin’ over 5800kms world latency spikes that would cycle back down to 500ms and the lowest I got was 240ms world during raid tonight 7-10pm EST.
I had to stop raiding in EP for this and now I find it extremely disappointing that this same issue will effect my ability to maintain a raid spot again in 8.3.
I hope we hear from Blizz soon and it is fixed asap!
Also having latency issues with Centurylink again for the first time in a few months as of earlier this evening.
I understand the last winMTR showed issues on my end in December, however, it was not the only thing going on during that time and I’m sure you are aware of it. Let me know if you think cycling my modem will fix this with Bnet now. The same 5th and 6th hop, LA server is where the issue lies. Level 3 
Higher than normal world latency once again. 4th and 5th hop look to have issues. Raiding last night with average of 280-550ms world with spikes into the 5900ms.

My wife and I play together on CenturyLink in the Western US. We have never had this type of problem but experienced it last night and again tonight. I found a previous thread and ran the test. I have the txt if you’d like. I’d like to figure out what I can do to keep playing =( We had to step out of our raid as the main tanks =/

Graycë and Jaysdk Both of your WinMTRs show packet loss starting at the home network or first ISP node outside of the network. We would recommend to forward these WinMTRs to your ISP and have them look into the issue.
With no other examples provided yet, this is looking more like a local ISP issue which the ISP can look into if you contact them.

I am getting this issue too, and like others I had this same problem a few months ago. I had CL techs come out 3 times. The first two times the issue came back, but after the third time it settled. Here is my winMTR from this evening. Had the issue for over an hour.

This is a packet loss and jitter problem on the backbone services between CL’s network edge and Blizzard. We need them to get the backbone provider and CL talking to fix this. I had a thread on this issue about 3 years back that got to 30 pages before some support people at Blizzard slapped CL and Level3 around until it was fixed.
Same problem, last four nights getting lag spikes 400-900 ms. CL as well.
Hey, everyone! I just wanted to update here, we are tracking for the CenturyLink issue resurfacing after about a month since the latency issue subsided, thanks to all of your reports!
Since the initial issue has been calm for the last month or so, we will need new tests to check on the connection issues that have been occurring for the last week.
To help us track this issue, please include a WinMTR test while running the game for 10-15 minutes. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

Based on a few of the tests here, I personally have some concerns that this might be occurring on the Level 3 node or there’s a configuration issue somewhere earlier on in the peers. We’ll need more tests to compare and confirm what’s happening to have this looked into by the appropriate folks.
I encourage to reach out to your ISP as well, so that this makes communication regarding the issue a bit easier for both sides a bit easier. Your reports are appreciated along with any additional information that you can provide
