I think the nightborne need a few adjustments and then they’ll have a great model and the killer story.

I don’t want them even resembling night elves visually closely, that’s my main issue.

Meanwhile void elves have no story, weird tentacle things globbed on them, an awful racial that turns them an obnoxious shade of blue.

But they look better and at least they look more distinct, even if both have plenty of reasons to have more changes for them.

Ideally, neither would resemble their parent race, but to me, the fact that void elves are more similar visually has always been very telling.

Also, the majority of the playerbase doesn’t care about the lore, I’m sure blizzard knows this.

Yeah, I will, maybe some day you will answer my question.

If they are showing they are behaving in just as reckless fashion as blood elves (albeit at a lesser degree because not main playable race), does that mean they’re not as assimilated, or they are simply enacting their regular, thalassian nature like every other high elf, including those in Quel’thalas.

You were not going to get the exact same race without any changes.

The Vrykul have worked with the horde.

However, two mages that are probably just ornamental aren’t evidence of what you’re claiming. Neither is Vereesa. If the Silver Covenant had boots on the ground maybe, but nothing suggests that they are formally part of the Alliance. Everything suggests they are part of Dalaran. Heck Mulfurion actually showed up to the front lines but nobody thinks the Cenarian Circle joined the Alliance.

I’m not saying they are in the Alliance. But it’s not wild to assume they could easily join them. THey already have their people in the Alliance. Also, their role in Dalaran is sided with the ALliance, which kind of helps my point a bit more. You won’t find them doing anything with the Horde, iirc.

They would have to leave Dalaran to do that… and now that the Sun Reavers are back there, I don’t see that happening. Also, a lot of people will be pissed because of their story. they really aren’t good guys.

Only a couple of mine are somewhat leveled. I hate following orders from the banshee and her pet though so the horde is dead to me these days.

What? Seems in line with the kind of character Vereesa has shown to be.

But as I said, it’s my headcanon.

i lost interest pretty fast, but I leveled it up a bit so that sweet sweet beam can proc without me dying.

I don’t think anyone cares about them being “good” to the Horde or not. That’s actually what I like. Who cares about the Blood ELves and the other races of the Horde? SC and the High Elves are totally justified for acting the way they do. And I’m 90% sure that’s actually why we all love them so much.
