I know right? The stable leadership, the strong presence in non-faction conflict related stories, the heroic treatment, so much winning for the horde.
Yup sure does.
I didnât take Ionâs advice could never play horde , but I am currently trying out other games, trying them out for a bit, Life seems a little more fair there then in wow plus the communities seemed a little nicer to.
Thank you for providing this. I am glad that it can be shown where the devs are not on the same page, or contradict each other. I know I am late to the party.
Answer to a pro-helf person asking a dev to confirm if they were just added for the benefit of Asian Girlfriends.
That is why I started playing BDO. The community feels different. Even the Gw2 community feels different.
See, the thing I realized is that the current devs are more âone-sidedâ. If you want this, the Horde is waiting for you. The Alliance population does need serious help. The encouragement is lacking because everyone is just going Horde. Pretty soon, there is only going to be a tiny fraction of Alliance players left, and what will be the response in the end? âThe Horde is waiting for you?â
You do know:
- He was also the same person on Reddit that said it was because of âasian playersâ or what ever that argument is.
- He was also the lead developer for the Warlock Classes, not a story or character dev.
I do miss Xelnath though, his design of Warlocks in MoP was really fun, and he did an amazing job with the Greenfire Story too.
I rather think the devs on BioWare do the best they can with the resources they have. As far as delivering things fans want in SWTOR. Just a different vibe over there. But I remain hopeful for WoWâs devs too.
Itâs hilarious because that tweet doesnât exclude the request as a reason that Blood Elves were given to the Horde. It says âmultiple reasonsâ and then lists some, but it doesnât even deny the idea that Horde players wanted a pretty race and that played into their development.
Yes
They were added for all the wrong reasons to the horde. Should have been a core race since they were on both sides.
Iâm just tired of people pulling this BS that the only reason they were added was Asian Girlfriends. I mean, despite you using it to push bad lore, weâve got Metzen talking about how they needed to mess with High Elves the way they did with wood elves in making Night Elves.
Nope, but it does kill off the âBlizz only did it because of this ONE thingâ
Well, donât look at me with those sort of comments, because I donât have any proof to the reason why Blood Elves were truly made available for the Horde. But I do remember the forums back in TBC how some people were complaining about why Blood Elves were on Horde, especially from both Horde and Alliance players.
Well now we can argue about what the catalyst was, but I am tired of players trying to pass off Blood Elves on Horde as some very intricate decision to make the plot super awesome because it doesnât. Thereâs fiction out there that has done it way better, and it had nothing to do with the shallow requests from players about aesthetics. I am glad we can put this to rest though for the time being!
Someone posted the vague memory thing again, so I posted the âWe had a bunch of reasons to do itâ tweet.
Here is the thing though Tarrok, and everyone else using the same argument from Xalneth, does anyone have any real solid proof to the reason why Blood Elves were made available for the Horde? Only thing I actually do remember is that Chris Metzen said is, âthey wanted to try something newâ, but with the comments on Twitter and Reddit by the same ex-dev that was based around the Warlock class, I donât think those are strong either way.
Now, there could be a number of reasons to why Blood Elves were made available for the Horde, but without full solid proof, I wouldnât be using any of those arguments.
Why are you directing that to me? Iâm not one of the people pretending that someone saying they had a vague memory of something is the sole reason that blood elves were given to the Horde.
Well, youâre also part of trying to use the same argument from the same ex-dev. But the message is actually directed at everyone, not just you.
EDIT: There you go, I edited it so it isnât just directed at you.
I like The Mechwarrior Online Community especially the Streaming community so supportive and friendly, Devs are cool to plus they are always having cool events where you actually get rewards and not garbage.
You know when you start your statement directing it at me, by name that kinda makes it look like you were.
NO! Those free births ruined my mech!
THIS is a Nova, you stravags! Do you see a waist there?
I may have strong opinions on my Clan mechs
LOL, sorry they did that to you tubie, cant imagine what they did to you in the lab,
