I think its nonsensical logic, to make such a conclusion that is not o ly exclusive to the first statement, but is also a blatant misrepresentation of what a poster said.
Which is not surprising, since you tried that with me just now.

I think, that more went into the decision than you believe.
I believe it was a factor for all those aspects, and not a singular one. Otherwise, you are just conducting confirmation bias.
The truth is not a singular aspect.
So, in other words, youâre with Fyre on that logic, and now just wanting to make things up, as long as it suits your criteria.
dont lump me in with pros. i accept how high elves are presented in game and what the devs say
So, youâre now claiming weâre making things up?
Youâre specific words yesterday
So, by saying that, youâre also saying Blood Elves are not High Elves considering that Void Elves are void infused Blood Elves.
biologically they are no longer a high elf. but void elves ARE void corrupted high elves. just like ion said, another flavor of high elf
According to Itoldyouso, theyâre basing their claims off of their own headcanon. Not being connected to the Sunwell= them being new races.
So when the Sunwell was destroyed, all elves turned into a new race? Is that how it works?
Thatâs what I said, but it didnât count back then.
Plus Night Elves turned into High Elves before the Sunwell was even created afaik.
and before that night elves were trolls transformed by a pool of water
So by that logic too, Blood Elves are corrupted High Elves, as Blood Elves did turn to demonic magics such as fel as well when the Sunwell was destroyed.
âMagic is absolutely corrupting. You shouldnât play with it.â In the wake of the destruction of the Sunwell, the high elves of QuelâThalas turned to demonic sources of magical energy to feed their magical addiction (which was thanks to thousands of years of constant exposure to magic, even for the high elves who didnât practice magic themselves). But messing with âfel energyâ is scary stuff, and it frightened the other races in the Alliance. âDwarves and humans donât want to hang around them. Theyâre not returning their phone calls.â
Chris Metzen - https://www.lby3.com/2005/10/29/blizzcon-chris-sigaty-explores-the-lore-of-warcraft/
hmm, 15 year old article, good for showing what devs of that time thought about what they were doing, bad for showing the current state of lore.
So anything that happened in the past, does not count. So, can we use that same logic against you, to say that Chris Metzenâs response to why the Blood Elves join the Horde does not count as well?
Sensible, reasonable understanding of the situation. Guess it just goes over some peopleâs heads.
I brought the article up to respond to someone using the lame âI vaguely rememberâ comment to declared that asian girlfriends were the ONLY reason they added blood elves to the horde, and NO DEVS have commented on it that worked on it at the time.
Youâre mining it for tidbits that for the most part we all agree are out of date. Seriously, itâs like every few weeks someone decides that no, we want to pretend Blood Elves sucked fel despite all the sources saying they only used it to power their buildings.
Right, and I am using also what was posted within there also.
No, I donât use that source on Reddit of an ex-dev that was the lead dev of the Warlocks, and I agree, vaguely isnât a strong argument. But if there is any available source that is said by any dev, doesnât matter if it is past or present, than it is still usable.
Stop pretending that any actual source doesnât count.
Oh wait, I forgot. Weâre proâs. Everything we say is irrelevant because it doesnât suit your criteria.
So then the now removed from the website encyclopedia is good when it says for all practical purposes high elves are extinct?
Youâve really gotten personal and antagonisticâŚwhatâs the problem? Had a bad day?
