High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

So people who want to play a race have a fetish for said race?

Also don’t blame us just because blizzard chose to pull void elves out of nowhere instead of giving us high elves.

I’d be fine with other types of elves, but I’m only asking for one.

And here’s a fine example of toxicity on the anti side. Reported.

Wouldn’t argue with them, these threads should be focused at Devs not Anties, imho. The Anties wont change their minds just like we wont.

oh noes not a report!!!..

you people can take a joke or the slightest bit of criticism can ya.

More and more I hope high elves will be a core race. Them reuniting and finding a place of their own would be nice.

Tell that to the devs, who keep adding blue-eyed Helves :man_shrugging:t2:

But the devs can’t be questioned!

Haha, I love this line here:

“Magic is absolutely corrupting. You shouldn’t play with it.” In the wake of the destruction of the Sunwell, the high elves of Quel’Thalas turned to demonic sources of magical energy to feed their magical addiction (which was thanks to thousands of years of constant exposure to magic, even for the high elves who didn’t practice magic themselves). But messing with “fel energy” is scary stuff, and it frightened the other races in the Alliance. “Dwarves and humans don’t want to hang around them. They’re not returning their phone calls.”

So, it actually does state that the Blood Elves actually did mess with Fel Magic.

Cassima, don’t say reported. Could put you in the wrong too.

I do agree though, that is a highly unnecessary comment.

Well yeah, that is what they were using to power their city. The problem is the people claiming the ones in silvermoon fed off them. Plus some of the BC stuff that they were writing about back then in 2005 has been changed or retconned.

And mainly I was using that to point out to someone that there are sources of devs who were around from the beginning that counter the idea that blood elves were only put in because Asian Girlfriends.

If they had High Elves, I would play one. Or 2. Maybe 5. Ok, probably 10+

Well, I have no argument to why Blood Elves were made available for the Horde, because I have no theories, nor do I have facts.

Although for some of them that makes no sense, as any of the elves that went along with Alleria should probably have more extreme signs of fel exposure than the Blood Elves due to being in Outland for longer than the blood elves used the fel crystals.

I mean, it’s not like they’re Felblood elves, they have a pretty mild range of natural skin tones. I mean, they have red blood still right? That’s why most people even with light skin are at least a bit pink.

Oh, and dunno if you saw it before you left our discord, but my condolences for what you mentioned there.

Like I said, I brought that one out because the person I responded to was trying to claim that no one who we could quote to counter the vague memory of one dev was even around when the decision was made.

Anyways, time to get off the topic about what ever reason thingies joined the dingies, and lets all talk about how big of a bonfire do we need to cook all the tauren for a massive steak dinner for all of Azeroth?

I don’t want to cook the Tauren. :sob:

Do you have any new jokes?

Just trying to bring some positivity to the thread with atleast a joke.

What, you want it to stay depressing with endless arguments over who is right and who is wrong?
