- My ideal is this. 10.0 is an old world revamp. No true big bad. we get the tinker base class added. We go around fixing smaller threats that have grown in our absence similar to vanilla. also I want turalyon still in power so anduin needs to still be under the control of the jailer. We can keep him chained up in the super prison in the middle of stormwind that is never mentioned but does actually exist for locking away great magical threats. it is in game. Go look at it. It has the clock tower on it.
Old world revamp would bring in the draenei and blood elf zones into the old world, all faction capitals updated as well. and the best part is this is all totally viable from a workload perspective because much of the assets already exist from prior expansions, they donât need to worry about the lower level experience because chromie time exists, and they donât need to give each zone itsâ own story but instead can have it separated into regional stories across multiple zones in the same area.
- for 11.0 I want dragon isles. introduces dragonsworn hero class. as a dragonsworn you are part of a new chromatic flight created by wrathion to solve the plight of the dragons. Dragons are losing their power. They can no longer reproduce either. This has been going on since the cataclysm. The story behind this is that to save the dragons themselves a new chromatic flight has to be created that combines all 5 dragonflights.
The dragonsworn class is playable by all races because you are a mortal turned into a dragon. (dragonsworn canonically as currently are mortals blessed by a dragonflight to have some of their powers for their devotion. My idea is to take it a step further by wrathion by combining them with a dragon for the chromatic flight).
Doing dragonsworn this way means it makes sense for all specs to be able to use powers from any of the dragonflights. Of course they get an ability to transform into a dragon.
- 12.0 I want to see âcrusade of the lightâ. The dark portal reopens. However this time it is a golden hue. out marches an army of draenei, both lightforged and regular, along with lightbound orcs, arrakoa, and ogres. Yrel has brought her crusade to azeroth to purify it in the name of the light.
We must take the fight to them. We must return to alternate draenor now caught up to our timeline. It is a desolate place not unlike an âalternate outlandâ.
- 13.0 can be the return of khadgar and medivh. We know khadgar has been in karazhan since the end of legion. Well why hasnât he responded to any of the major threats that have transpired? Sure he didnât want to partake in the faction war however that doesnât explain why he would sit out the rise of the black empire, the rampaging of the scourge and the shattering of the veil, and recently the crusade of the light that invaded azeroth.
Wrathion didnât even encounter khadgar while he was researching the void in bfa in karazhan. He just spoke to the spirit of medivh.
So where has khadgar been? With medivh out in the great dark! Not the spirit of medivh. The real medivh. The one we met at the end of karazhan in legion. That medivh spoke of a great threat rising in the great dark. Well khadgar all these years has been out there with him learning of this threat. fighting it. and now he returns to azeroth to rally itsâ champions.
