High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

Kill your brothers. That is all.

I swear I feel like the announcer in this video and all my friends are the old guy who makes the child cry.

(Spoiler alert, the old man did not go easy on the child who broke down into hysterical tears about two thirds through the game at which point the announcer started taunting him for losing.)

Just because you think that a void elf with a neutral hair color = blood elf doesn’t make it so, this sounds like a you problem and blood elves don’t have ownership over hair colors. As for hairstyles I am against them being shared as well.

The only reason you’re being villainized is because you’re making a fuss over someone wanting to choose their hair color, which is an option you aren’t forced to opt in if you don’t want to.

Whatever analogy makes you and your friends feel superior I guess, an adult bullying a child isn’t something I’d look up to though.

I think midare needs to give you a psychiatric questionnaire about a void elf with blonde hair cs a blood elf with blonde hair again.

Psychiatric? I’d hardly consider it that but like I said, whatever makes you feel superior.
And by all means I welcome it, I’ll be there to answer the exact same thing I did last time. She usually just gets fed up with me anyways because I don’t follow your anti-hair color agenda.

Here is a void elf with brown hair on a void elf style:

This looks more like a blood elf than current void elf options allow. This is objective fact.

If you want the hair, go ahead and ask for it (I am). But don’t try and pretend you’re avoiding stepping on blood elf toes entirely by simply avoiding blood elf styles and exact colours.

That’s just a void elf with brown hair. If a blood elf had purple hair I wouldn’t say it looks like a void elf either. It’s a hair color.

This whole “stepping on toes” is something you’ve (or not you specifically) completely made up in order to deny people from choosing their hair color, which is something they would have to simply not opt into if they didnt like it. The only people here pretending are the same people who pretended before void elves got neutral skin options, the same people who were bashing anyone who wanted high elf options during BfA, claiming that blood elves have ownership over those options.

Edit: or not you specifically since you’re not against neutral hair colors

What? I’m asking for the hair colour. I just recognize it makes velves look closer to belves, so it’s natural others will oppose it.

Edit: I was a bit fast on this post

I’m honestly okay with what void elves have right now, I mean they got plenty, but I won’t piss on people who want to change their hair color to something more neutral, and if anything it just gives them more of the high elf fantasy they want, which Blizzard explicitly stated isn’t strictly reserved to blood elves.

Nono I was slow to edit ._.

Agreed.

I’d actually prefer ranger markings to hair, since I like the velf hair anyway. But I would like hair too.

Some people like the visual faction divide, so they’ll try to maintain what remains of it. That doesn’t make them villains. They just have an opposing view to people who want high elf options on velves.

I find it’s better to respectfully disagree than end up as

No problem.

its not just some people. you guys are some people. its blizzards stance as well. white, blonde, brown and other natural colors are inconsistent with the void elf aesthetic now that they have natural skin tones. the ‘high elf’ aesthetic is just the blood elf aesthetic, so you have to look at how this was handled from a holistic view of the game(blizzards). if you want to play a pure blood elf you STILL have to come to the horde and what we have now is tolerable overlap. i mean you guys just arent getting a straight up 1:1 option to run around as a pure blood elf on the alliance because they want distinct aesthetics, even if it only comes down to hair coloring and styles. we all know this or you guys wouldnt spam

I’m literally just describing what happens in the video, simmer down.

I thought it was a fairly unusual series events to see on a tv show.

Trying to claim one side is bigger than the other is pointless because we have no data.

Remember, they said they were considering adding more high elf options.

Blizzard isn’t really one for constancy on stances.

I would like to issue a Horde red card for using Garrosh in favour of an Alliance argument.

My apologies.

Just don’t let it happen again.

I’m letting you off with a warning this time.

Exactly, we have people on both sides who seem to like to constantly wage a war on this stupid thing.

It’s one thing to be passionate about it and have a rash behavior from time to time - we are humans after all. Now, targeting people and going after them is a whole different thing.

Let people ask for what they want, and express what they feel about it freely, without the need of “having the last word” on it. Or at least that’s how I feel the conversation rolls out frequently.

This right here. They say one thing, tomorrow they’ll say a whole different thing.

As we’d say in Spanish, «donde dije “digo” digo “Diego”».

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I don’t think anyone is superior. Everyone is equal, but there is objective fact, and what is not fact. A VE with blonde hair resembles uncomfortably close or looks like, a blood elf.

No one here has any better opinion than another on this.

Folk should be allowed to agree and disagree if they do.

(though recently I’ve been told that my whole void elf list is nothing more than spite and that because I don’t want more high elf options I’m clearly just being mean
And I’m still salty about it.)

thats weird. i mean its asking for white hair like the elf im posting on. something anyone can pick up and play right now in the game
