High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

We see them in Stormwind, and pretty much every expansion either in cities or in the 7th legion or SC. The game recognizes both factions, Sin’dorei and High Elves

Elisande’s retort, Nightfallen Rebellion

Would recommend reading the Nightfall Rebellion operation pretty cool.

Literally never said so. I certainly would hate to imply Helves (especially the dumpster fire that is the SC narrative wise) and Belves are remotely similar in socio politics and behaviour.

As I said before: do get your pet race, but get off my lawn regarding the territory (Belves fought very hard and lost a lot just to catter to Helves cause people never overcame WC2, period), the characters (NO, Halduron is NOT a Helf and NO, Farstrider theme is NOT Helf exclusive, deal with it) and the narrative (go look for another race to villain bat so your pets look semi competent, Belves already have to deal with good ´ol Horde villain batting to add more to the pile).

When one -an actual lore nerd junkie who has read side material regarding the Belves and Quel´thalas- listen to people “demanding” to get back “muh Silvermoon cause muh Alleria and muh WC2 rangers being buddies of muh MHP” one loses ALL respect for the people demanding the stuff. Cause they sound like a Karen asking for things they simply don´t deserve, period.

Fixed that for you, you´re welcome.

Dalaran should have stayed Alliance exclusive since MoP (it´s “neutrality” is one of the reasons why Belf mages are such an ignorable thing in the Horde narrative; cause devs simply recurr to the “neutral” Dalaran to develop anything related to magic and arcane for Horde.

Man, you used one of the worst examples to prove the “coolness” of the SC. Elisande literally reduced them to a bunch of trophy wives too worried about copulating with the Humans and too self centered on their past ands NOT their present to actually realize they´re diluting their genetic material with the humans and losing their genetic inheritance while at it.

That was humiliating, much more than what the Nelves and get got as “insult”.

You changed it to what you wanted it to say? WOW Dishonesty there.

This is what I actually said:

/facepalm

I changed it to reflect what actually SHOULD happen. You don´t believe Helves deserve to even get updated hubs and prefer to let things as a “maybe” / chance?

Weird for a hardcore Helfer fan. Unless ofc you´re with the “muh Helfer owned Silvermoon” crowd, in which case sorry but, no support there buddy.

Then why not make the opinion under you own name instead of changing what someone else wrote, btw i just responded to this for the record as far as I am concerned honest debate is not possible with you. Especially going around changing other people statements. Assuming what they are thinking. Safe Travels.

OK, I see what you did there supports more strongly what he’s taking about but, changing the text in a quote can be grounds for a suspension…

Kinda doubt it would lead to that here, but keep that in mind… I know from experience…

I wouldn’t go so far as to call Void Elves or Night Elves a Pet Race. Including Void Elves who have High Elf Options. You don’t own a Person or a Race in General on a Faction.

More people should play high goblins. I have the blonde hair, maybe even the blue eyes, I forget which ones I picked.

I don’t see where night elves were mentioned as a pet race?

First part…most definitely.

Second part… :scream_cat:

Nice transmog, here’s mine.

Also, I think you replied to the wrong person.

Come on, it’s just pretty silly to contrast the political and ideological differences of societies as “teenage rebellion” even if they are fictional.

There’s just something so insidious about trying to deny the validity of something by calling it childish, to claim that having grievances with your government is akin to teenage rebellion, regardless of context. Ugh.

Like for real, a lot of High Elves have valid reasons to be resentful against Orcs after the Second War, just like a lot of Blood Elves have reasons to be resentful of humans after the Third War. To pretend one is justified and the other just dismissed as pettiness shows more of your bias than anything, thusly, mocking one side.

We have the advantage of seeing everything from outside the narrative, it’s just so weird when IDK, people get so wrapped into the Horde/Alliance dichotomy they can say “This group is right and the other is wrong” when the story itself always stresses both sides have valid reasons.

90% of the High Elf population died in the Third War, another 90% of that died when Arthas attacked Quel’thalas.

You’re wrong. 90% did die due to Arthas but that’s it… Though it was during the third war.

It’s not 90 then another 90.

Cause this is another way to put it? I mean my fix clearly improved AND reinforced your point -it was NOT a misquote cause the goal of the petition is basically the same-. A lot of people do this and it´s no problem; you on the other hand were too busy looking at ways to disagree with me to even READ what I wrote.

I think we can agree in regards to having impossible honest communication when you don´t even read what people post, dude. So sorry, but the burden on “dishonest debate” is certainly NOT on my side of the fence.

Next time read first before complaining.

The way I see it he´s more worried about crying over the issue and acting contrarian than actually READING what I wrote (which is ironic considering anyone with a minimal comprehension of the English language will interpret his stance as “I really don´t care if the devs update or not Helf hubs in Alliance lands”).

Sorry, but that was Helfer dramatic argumentation modus operandi 101… and I´m too old to continue wasting my time with that BS.

And while I´ve seen this argumentation technnique used tons of times with no negative feedback since like a decade ago in this very forums, I believe you the err… “sensitive” dudes WILL complain in bad faith.

The true AIDS of the story imho.

Props for Garrosh indeed for not falling for Blanduin´s Talk-no-Jutsu BS. Though If we can get a “revisited” villain I´d love Gul´dan cause I´m 100% sure he A) would be totes inmune to Blanduin´s BS too and B) he can actually rile up Blanduin so he grows up a little as a character (Imagine “resurrected” Gul´dan taunting Anduin with him “disenchanting daddy” in Broken Shore.
