I doubt at this point we will get a straight up HE race.
Most likely we will get VE to look similar, and perhaps a model toggle for LFD (I hope!) with HE as an option.

And they have an ability where they can lay eggs in an enemyās chest if the enemy is under 20% health. Summons two spider elflings if you manage to kill the target with this attack.

I think for it to be properly done right, it would have to be the elves that was stranded alongside turalyon/alleria, not the ones that we meet in outlands. Though Iām not opposed to the idea of getting new recruits for the army of the light, I just want more lore for lightforged then dreanei that is more holier then thou.

True, that is why they are closing the gap alittle with VE customizations, like they did with wildhammers and the troll tribes.
I mean you could try, but I think itās be easier to look for other ways to get them indirectly at this point.
Mistakes I think.
Wildhammer definitely deserved the AR treatment and High Elves would be better off not watering down Void Elves.
Trolls too should have separate ARās.

Pretty much this, whatās done is done. In all honestly Magāhar Orc/Highmountain Tauren would have been better as customizations then ARs but thatās just my opinion. While they do suck I do love the theme of Magāhar Racials.

Having trouble even starting my Wildhammer dwarf. I canāt work with it. Iāve tried so many times, but Iām stuck with either a Shaman or a Warrior and I justā¦ donāt want that. Without the Stormhammer Racial and something gryphon related I just find myself cosplaying as a Bronzebeard.
I hate it.

Its the best I came up with yeah. Just doesnāt feel good at all.
Wildhammer were among my favorite races and Iāve been waiting 15 years for them to be playableā¦ this is just not them.

I know wildhammer donāt have paladins, but hammer of wrath can be rped as a storm hammer. (my favorite pally move since classic. Iām happy itās back)
Just being a paladin and trying to play that as Wildhammer, would be suck.
Ideally their AR version wouldnāt have had mage, warlock or paladin. But they would have druid.
Iād probably have made a druid thenā¦ honestly. lol
