High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

Oh look, and see, this is proof you do not know why people want playable High Elves for the Alliance.

drede is the one claiming they have been separated by 30 years and that there is an invisible population of alliance high elves outside of quel’thalas and dalran. even though the first schism was only 15 years ago

i mean this is so silly arguing about this still. a blood elf isnt just a high elf its a traditional high elf from wider fantasy. magical, pale skinned, fair hair colors and light aligned with the ability to become a paladin. as well as rangers and magisters

in other words

YOU CAN ALREADY PLAY WHAT YOURE ASKING FOR

you just have to play the horde :guardswoman:

I think this is proof of you not understanding the point of satire, but as I said, your desire to be accepted means you rarely read anything for its worth.

Clearly, helfers are just wanting a typical trope fantasy. :man_shrugging:

Yeah, and it was an Anti at first who claimed it was only 30 years too. Did you not read the Primer? Originally posted by Lydon or what ever his name was?

Except people are not asking for High Elves on the Alliance to be playable based on looks.

No, when we roll the Blood Elf on Horde, we’re actually rolling a Blood Elf! The ones that renamed themselves to honor there fallen. The ones who also reject themselves as High Elves.

I just sit here so amazed at the the artwork the HE community produces, I hope Blizzard does something akin to the models in the OP when they make them playable :blue_heart:

That would be cool! I have the same hopes for playable Ogres and …even Mogu, now. Didn’t even think of the possibility of playable Mogu happening until the latest content patch!

 I hope you get them if they are something you would enjoy playing as, and experiencing the world of Azeroth as! Everyone deserves that :blue_heart:

Damn right! I already have a name on mind for when Ogres eventually become an Allied Race.

…named after my favorite Olog-hai from Shadow of War in fact.

ENOUGH!()

they didnt give you high elves because high elves are already playable

but they threw you a bone with void corrupted high elves

its over void elves are your future if you cant stand the horde. and the SC will only be used in the future if dalaran is involved

also are you coming to the festival of the farstriders RP event next month? i cant wait! lannisteros if youre as big a fan of high elves as you want us to believe i hope to see you there too

 That is awesome! I know a lot of the pro HE community have ideas / names for their potential High Elves too, that kind of love for personal narrative is something I admire! I love the story for my characters and the choice.

Such a great game. I lost my favorite olog in an online siege. He was such a monster with his immunities.

In hindsight I shouldn’t have jumped into online sieges a week after the max level was increased. Was fighting 70-80 dudes with my 60s.

Shadow of War is so much fun. I’ve beaten it twice; once at my cousin’s, and once at home on my own console. Some of the most fun I’ve had with a game in ages. Love the Nemesis System!

One of my best Orcs was on my cousin’s console was a Savage Captain, Khrosh Fearsome. He was my mightiest warrior, no one could keep him down. He survived into the after-game Shadow Wars phase and everything!

Yesterday I was thinking the Stone Mogu and Stone/Iron Vrykul would be a good set of races pared together.

Ogres could use the Kul Tiran model. It works really well for Rexxar.

I think Female Ogres could use the female Orc Skeleton as a base or at least a modified version of one.

Ar-Pratu, the Kingslayer, is my version of that. He and my next best, Kruk(can’t remember the name, but pretty sure it’s Kruk) the Pretender guard my overlord, Tuka the Unstoppable.

So many good names for Orcs and Ogres, honestly. One of my best captains on my Xbox file is actually called Grom. I wish I remembered his last name/title thingy.

I got killed by an Uruk recently during a loading screen (which has never happened to me before), cost me an online vendetta mission and everything. And his name was Golm the Obsessed!

The first female mogu I’ve seen is by the vendor and quest giver in the new vale.

One of my fav Ologs for a long while during early game was Ar-Hissu Pain-Lover.

He died tragically during a siege when he got mobbed by two Uruk Captains, one of them using the one thing he was critically weak against.

Poison.

:frowning:
You will be remembered, Ar-Hissu Pain-Lover.

I also didn’t once suggest that High Elves were biologically distinct. You might consider going back and actually reading what I wrote. :man_shrugging:

For the sake of clarity, is it an Alliance High Elf themed event, or Sin’dorei, because I am more of a Blood Elf fan rather go so far as to fancy myself a Sylvanas loyalist and prefer Blood Elves personality in most regards, and its because of my love of Blood Elves that I understand and respect the love for Alliance High Elves as well as my belief that I think it adds to faction rivalry.

So if you are referring to Alliance High Elves, believe it or not an event playing on a lot of the personality types / narrative themes with them wouldn’t be up my alley. But you could very well also be referring to the fact that Blood Elves are High Elves in which case I would be inclined to think about it never heard of the event before will ask around about it
