High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

The Alliance were beating a united Horde for almost the entirety of the Fourth War. If the winners are “exhausted”, then I’m going to imagine the losers are even worse off.

I wouldn’t want Quel’thalas to be attacked in the form of a Warfront, though I still think if the war does continue, it should definitely be the next city to get invaded(I wouldn’t even care if the Horde successfully defended the city, I just think it’d be a fun scenario).

With all the stuff night elves went through I didn’t really see threads that implied that the horde should win the territory.

I am salty about this as well, I hope they expand who can use glaives at the very least.

Yet they couldn’t take Orgrimmar per Anduins own doubts. So maybe Sylvanas was holding back forces there, which indicates you winning battles but the war war weakening you more than us. So the truce is good for both sides the Horde that wants to rebuild post Sylvanas, and the Alliance that couldn’t continue the war much longer anyways.

I would not mind a Quel’thalas warfront… if it mean a whole zone updated, rework and the mogs… omg the beutiful MOGS!!!

Ok were do I sign in to blast it! Who will attack? The Undead commanded by an empowered Dar’Khan Drathir who is now working with Sylvanas or the Jailor?!
:zombie: :vampire: :woman_zombie:
Oooooo I can’t wait to get all this Mogs from the corpses and the destroyed old Quel’thalas rubble! :smiling_imp:

LOL Im joking but I do and will support anything that will update an old zone to look like Legion and BfA cities!

Not really as Kyn said above, Anduin was hesitating for the sake of peace for the entire war. Which led to us taking many blows. We weren’t doing very strong at all, the assault on Org in BFA was the final assault we could launch with our forces or we would be finished.

HE fans bring up taking Quel’thalas often enough. I think there’s 3 threads up currently about it. NEs don’t have anything that I’ve seen Horde fans want but Alliance extremists do feel ownership over Quel’thalas still. So I don’t think the parallels quite match up imo.

:man_facepalming:

Make a new thread about warfronts plz, this is not a warfront thread.

You realize a thread, especially a mega thread is not always going to stay off topic. Just chill and calm down. Focus will come back to HE and the new customizations eventually.

I didn’t bring warfronts up and I’m going to have an opinion on it if it’s brought up.

And it’s a Quel’thalas warfront so unfortunately as much as a I dislike it, it does fall under HE subject. So as much as I would like to tell people to stop bringing it up it’s still on topic, my disagreement is still on topic, and I’ll edit this OP as I made it to include warfronts if it bugs you so much but I’m not going to. But if you’re going to attempt to police what’s on or off topic considering these things get very off topic sometimes idk what to tell you other than good luck.

Well, I don’t know what Blizzard were thinking or what WoW’s story was implying, but I don’t know how the victors could be suffering worse losses than the defeated.

Alliance won all the major skirmishes, Warfronts and the sacking of Daza’lor. I don’t think Horde won a single thing after Teldrassil. Their losses should outweigh ours by a long shot.

For every loss the Alliance face, the Horde lost more. If that final assault was all they could muster up, the Horde wouldn’t have been able to do much either. There’s no way the people winning the war are somehow actually suffering the worse losses, to the extent of having to forfeit their role in it.

Nobody sacked Orgrimmar at the end because both sides wanted peace(I think?).

I just don’t think it would happen even if people asked for it. Look how long it took to get us something that’s at least closer to the high elves we want, I doubt that they would give us quel’thalas.

I’d just be in it for the mogs and potential updates. Their art team gets better each expac, so the idea of a new silvermoon is very appealing. I’d want blood elves to win the warfront though, or whatever it is. I am not sure we’ll have more warfronts going forward.

How would you feel if rather than a warfront it was a one time event? Like a pre patch sort of thing?

I’m still against any concept that involves bringing war to Quel’thalas, that’s just my view as the Alliance extremist opinions would really just serve to grief BE fans.

I don’t take issue with fighting elsewhere? The lore we want added to VEs for example? SC have ties to Northrend? The pre patch takes us there, it could be a chance for a little something that gives us mogs and the story we need to see HEs take the VE name giving us the HE lore to go with the customizations.

No, I doubt everyone in the silver covenent would be joyous to take the VE study’s with void magic being so close to death magic (which also uses shadow magic) They need to be their own thing.

Blood Elves and Silvermoon are definitely the continuation of the High Elf lore as a people. It 100% doesn’t belong to any Ren’dorei or Alliance-aligned High Elf.

I love the Alliance High Elves and have always wanted them playable, but they’re not the “High Elves” that people are thinking. Blood Elves are the actual “High Elves”; their culture, their laws and their government are all from their old lives.

OOooo I like this… Specially since Horde last story events, feels like it lost the most in this War (IMO)

It would feel good for a change to win not only as Horde but as a HE/BE/VE, as last time Quel’thalas was invaded it was a masacare… I love to play an EPIC payback comeback as a Blood Elf whether it be a Warfront or a Pre-Patch event! :star_struck:

Oh yes I remember you now from earlier you disagreed anyone should be happy with what was given yesterday, and even with lore added for us that was still a no from you.

Because the void elves does not carry the lore of the silver covenent? Was that hard to understand?

also it crossed the line of BE/VE differences.

If we get story to see Silver Cov joining the Ren’dorei and taking the Ren’dorei name, yes then continuing to campaign for HEs is a little hard for me to understand. I won’t fault you for it or anyone else but the least you can do is let people who are happy be happy.

It’s the same thing I see it San’layn is given through customization fingers crossed for that community. It just is what it is, and people want to be happy.

I don’t think that can work considering the silver covenent seen dark magic before and wouldn’t want to mess with it. They may though work together with alleria and vereesa being sisters. Do not forget though, Vereesa did raise Arator, it won’t be far fetched for him to have a squad or 2 in the silver covenent that could be our allied race in the future.

I’m kinda meh about san’layn. I could go for it being it is on the horde anyways unlike ve/be

I’d love to see Void Elves and Silver Covenant Elves joining forces, but I’d personally hate for both of them to serve under either of their banners. But if they created a brand new one with Alleria and Vereesa leading it, for every thalassian exile, I’d be a fan.
