Slight correction, the compromise that happened and we have to live with.
i am a blood elf. prove me wrong without looking at my name plate. hehe
eek forgot to mog my belt and gloves. sorry.
Glory to the Sin’dorei Hyper you look just like us save the blue back ground
what does that have to do with me pointing out that it’s not that the against side is happy with the compromise but that it is reality that it happened and Blizzard is never going to take away Void Elves now that people are playing them?
haha!
i am the sneaky blood elf who apparently snuck too much and the grumpy rommath guy said, skedaddle. heet de road. and so did our favorite elf leader. he said, go! and never come back. and like a dummy, i did.
twas a reaction to your comment - define what an appropriate compromise would be. i’d think the appropriate compromise for a high elf, would be a character that looks like a high elf. its compromised though, so it might have some variables but those variables would ideally not stray too far from what makes a high elf, a high elf. for example, human skin colors - not purple or blue or green or gray, but rather some shade of brown.
Actually it isn’t. There is nothing in lore about there being mostly half elves.
My comment there was a question to one specific person who I wanted to figure out what they thought a compromise would be.
In that I don’t think they’re really looking for a legitimate compromise, but are using it to make people opposed look unreasonable for opposing a compromise, when in fact that specific poster is just demanding basically everything they want and nothing for us. Another point where I don’t really care if you argue about what you desire, just don’t dress it up in a dishonest way to try and guilt the other side.
it doesnt have to say they are high elves, only that their bloodlines are diluted from marrying humans. they’ve been hanging out in dalaran for 2800 years. some of them appear to like human mates. maybe this is why they resisted going to outlands with kael’thas - they had actual human-elf families in dalaran
Don’t forget the lore, the compromise should include using the existing population of Alliance HE’s, but this “compromise” didn’t so it is safe to assume they can add HE’s in the future
Also I adore your mog if I haven’t said so already very nice, very fitting
oh it gets better. i have the magical broom pet that magically sweeps. oh yeah, that’s the ticket. it sweeps the floor around where i am standing. guess i’m kinda messy or something.
Well if it’s cleaning up after you, you’ll have more time to come up with ideas and theories on High Elf inclusion
i remember first time i saw one was in the belf starting area. i smiled and watched it for awhile. thought - hey thats exactly what you’d expect from a race of mostly mages. hehe
i mean we belfs taught the humans magery and then they perfected it by tapping ley lines instead of being addicted to a magic well.
Oh Hecatone, Hecatone, Hecatone. How incorrect can you be with this statement?
Well I’ll note you said mostly! But I think I’m still considered a magister type D; ?
Though my actual mage I after only playing a mage for so long will be benched as they say for a while, I think with Alliance HE’s he would be my one character I change to breathe new life into him
You are absolutely still ‘a magister type’ and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You just use a… Different discipline to some.
Wait until I get to Legion content & my army of demons!
Actually oddly enough VE’s, coupled with my love for Proudmoore as a server, has really energized a love for Alliance I didn’t know I had, I am now keen on the idea of a NE Druid one day! Perhaps if I am ever inclined to bring my priest back to the BE’s I may just make one!
Edit: PS I just realized I doubt warlock would be a class HEs would use, a BE / VE only applicable class, so I am playing the antithesis of what a HE stands for D; oh no !!
I can see some great dialogue between Alliance HE’s and Void Elves paralleled to the dialogue funny lines of Nightborne and Blood Elves.
I can see HEs and VEs taking a proactive role in things together at times, and finding a genuine kinship that may even be comedic to Alliance questers as they go through.
Like that line the Void Elves has with the Dark Irons where they called the DI “my dirt stained friend”
Little things like that, I can see HEs and VEs forming that cute friendship bond.
I gave a list of likely to not likely.
Though guess it makes sense, but still
