thats a really good question. they gave us a character with no lore, no home, no interaction since then, and not even a hint they were in any way attached to the faction you have to grind to get them.
compare this to nightborne, who, other than seriously needing some of the kajillion different customizations you already have as a belf, had the best lead up to and home city in the history of the game.

You arenât in any position to tell me what I believe.
Yes, Iâam. I can smell your irony far away, dear. Also, you are fast on reply.
Must be nice believing you have the right call other people âliarsâ.
what did you expect? youve been begging for a horde race, they wanted a void themed race, and now we have void elves. take the bone hyper or play the horde
ion the lead game developer is in the horde guild elitist jerks. hes been in it, since vanilla. heâs an orc shaman.

So what? You still dontâ have access to the names of all the team members who create the story of this game. You and I have no idea who they are let alone what faction they play or prefer.

So?
Ghostcrawler played alliance.
What people play has little to do with their design philosophy or job.
Why would Blizzard repeatedly harm half of its player base? They are a business. They want to make money. The theories do not hold weight.
None of the developers play pandaren and I donât feel represented in our leadership.
Iâm sorry for you if youâre being serious. Itâs common sense not to draw conclusions when you have no evidence.

i dunno. whyâd the director of the last jedi call the old star wars fan base a bunch of man babies? it seems the big companies are deciding what part of their fan base they want to embrace and treat the rest like caca poopoo
Defending your product =/= making your product harm alliance players.
Blizzard is bad at stories.
They have a vision of the game, and it doesnât match yours at all.

You are full of irony, dear. Not lies. Stop the drama, you got your attention.
I donât subscribe to the theory that blizzard hates the alliance and that all the major devs play horde.
We know ion plays horde.
Terran gregory however plays alliance as does christie golden. 2 prominent figures in developing the narrative of the game.
Metzen also plays alliance albeit he is now retired (perhaps not for much longer though?)
However I do believe that the devs often donât know what to do with the alliance. They want to create an interesting narrative that is complex and has nuance but blizzard has shown they canât do that. They always default back to writing out the factions band together to defeat the big bad even in a faction war.
They want the factions to both have their goods and bads yet they consistently write the horde as the bad guys and the alliance as the good guys.
They mean well but it doesnât seem like they are capable of telling the story they actually want to. Even back when the allied races thing was fresh in one of the first QnAs of 2018 they said that the list for horde allied race ideas was 3 times longer than the alliance. They just donât know how to write the alliance is the problem.
What they should be doing is making use of established plot devices that the alliance has but donât get used ever. The house of nobles for stormwind and dwarven senate are excellent examples of that.

I just wanted to get some laughs in a positivity thread gone sour : (

disagree. this was jainas expansion, she shined. while horde got to watch sylvans go insane unbelievably, none of it felt natural. it was a forced garbage narrative

the problem is theyâre going for subvert expectations thing and they cant do that if its predictable. so our elves are all dark elves and our high elves lost their souls and joined the monster faction out of bitterness and now they hate us and actively try to kill us and this is because they had one of our leaders try to genocide them and so on and so on.
story is actually depressing
