If we follow your logic, then if Vereesa changes her title to Mistress of Warlocks then I guess the silver covenant all change to warlocks too?
The group was formed to oppose blood elves being allowed into Dalaran. It was not formed as a group exclusive to hunters.

Yeah. Thatās true.
If someoneās job title changes completely in concept that means their job changed. Thatās a really simple concept.
No the group was formed to provide a military deterrent to blood elves in Dalaran as of Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War chapter 22.
blood elves were already in dalaran and had a member on the council of six. all your doing is proving there was a split among the dalaran high elf community which has nothing to do with the horde or alliance prior to wrath
Unlike the Silver Covenant, I might add.
So if I change my job, everyone that works for me has to change their job also? This isnāt even true for most of the groups in wow unless a group was formed specifically for the purpose of being a class group.

First line of the wiki guys. Also scroll down a bit and have a look that the member list. They werenāt formed as a hunter group.
And I meant they were formed to oppose the hordeās admission through the blood elves. Iām tired and feel like putting my head through a wall.

If you change your job the people that work for you at your new job will generally have jobs relating to your new job. Because thatās how job titles work.
You donāt ship your entire old corporate structure and have doing the same jobs they were doing at their old job.
Like how are you struggling with this concept?
Iām not, but she didnāt form the silver covenant as part of a job team. There are multiple classes represented, and from what Iāve seen in game, the majority are mages. Go have a look at the silver covenant NPCs in Suramar. I didnāt see any that werenāt tagged as mages aside from Vereesa.

The Silver Covenant members at the lodge are all hunters.
And yeah there are only three or so.
The Silver Covenant is designed with similar concepts used by the Farstriders but they include many mages and such among their ranks. They were made in a city of mages after all.

and how many are in the mage hall
The Silver Covenant used lots of mages in Pandaria and Wrath.
I donāt know how this is even a debate.
And Sylvanas as Ranger General commanded more than Huntersā¦

I work as a programmer for an AI learning company. I have an accountant on my team. Does this mean the company I work for is no longer an IT business because it utilises specialists who are needed to better facilitate the running of the business?
They have more mage types in game overall than hunter typesā¦
This would suggest the Rangers are the specialists.

the SC are a major magister type organization. its why aethas was the leader of the high elf community and put on the council after dalaran was rebuilt. its why the SC was tied with the mage class halls in legion and vereesa styled them after the farstriders. its why all the fanfiction art depicts them as ranger types and embracing nature
I am not disputing the existence of silver covenant hunters, just the notion that the group is mostly hunters just because of Vereesa.
It wasnāt formed with the purpose of being a hunter group and they certainly are not the most represented class in the group.

Yes, I get that. Iām agreeing with you.
They are clearly a group of militant high elves with many specialties among them.
