Whatās sad is we get the resentment, but we didnāt make the other two threads.
Youāre probably right, but I wouldnāt suggest anyone flag any post especially if you want this topic not to be shut down.
I donāt think you tagged me to that post, but referencing an earlier time you said something isnāt citing a source.
Fairly sure that boat sailed awhile ago. Its no secret that these threads often get flag bombed. I know its not the Antiās. I highly doubt its the Pros. That leaves only the players who are just tired of seeing the threads.
It could even be trolls who donāt care either way about high elves.
I donāt know what that comment was about, but for the record Iāve stated before I do enjoy reading anti comments when they are about lore, even if they are heavily Horde related as I despite maintaining my priest have always preferred Horde, and I especially enjoy anti posters who have a love of BEās and based on your post history I do think that includes you so while I vehemently disagree on your Alliance HE stance I admire and share your opinion on BEās, so if the comment was directed at you I by default of the original post as well as what I am stating right now hope you know that is not my sentiment, nor would it ever be in the future.
waves at Ely Hope youāre doing well Ely! Iām scrolling through the thread briefly before bed a bit unwell mostly I didnāt sleep 2 nights in a row, glad to see you here!
I only have my mage, priest and warlock. And when I returned to the game I knew I wanted a Horde main and Alliance main, and I knew I wanted a Priest, and was deciding what to do.
My priest became my Alliance main! And I made a new BE warlock I am taking the game slow enjoying questing on to replace my BE mage for my Horde position. Butā¦ I would be inclined to change my mage I thought long and hard on if I wanted a new mage but he was my first serious or semi serious character I kept going back to so I think it would breathe new life into him after I have taken my break from playing a mage heh
My two night elves would be safe too, as would my two humans (though I probably will make my human mage Asian, since she does already have black hair). But my three void elves I would change to high elves in a heartbeat.
Awesome pictures of blood elves you have there
Everyone will twist Ionās words to fit their narrative. The anti side will believe that he gave the most polite ānoā that he could while the pros will cling to the āNo plans in the near futureā part
Lazy writing.
yes. We always stick to one thread until it either gets deleted or caps out at around 20k comments. We are blamed for the spam of people outside our control usually from the anti side creating multiple threads. They have tried to consolidate it to one thread yet they still have multiple active threads.
Iād prob change my main, but my Rogue would remain a void elf. Not sure about my mage.
Always awesome seeing good fan art!
As a BE fan myself if I had to choose itāll always be BEās. I think BE fans are incredibly loyal, but I see where the love of HEās stems from because I know I do not love BEās and VEās just because they are an elf, I enjoy their personality and culture and lore which in VEās case it just plays off my already existing love for BEās. So I will continue to want HEās on Alliance just as much as anyone else!
I also think the story will be enriched, so as a BE player I want to see HEās playable because itāll mean they will get story, and I love identifying with the faction I am on so I will be more inclined to be passionately against their interests in story on my BE.
The rivalry between BEās and NEās never made sense to me, the WC3 had Kael and Tyrande surprised to see each other but not hostile, the wow narrative forced a hostile approach with them, but the questing in Eversong is pre entry to Horde and they were already randomly placed to be a foil to BEās.
The VE vs BE rivalry is lack luster, Lorāthemar and Rommath dislike them okay. But is the general population of Silvermoon and Quelāthalas going to notice a few missing exiled elves studying magic? Theyāve been at it for some time by the time Alleria gets there, so by the time they become VEās for me it would be like āwait who are you people and youāre alliance now? okay and?ā type vibe.
I think the HEās would help benefit VE story by developing a friendship akin to that of Nightborne and Blood Elves on Horde. And I think the rivalries Blizzard should concentrate on are Night Elves and Nightborne and Blood Elves and Alliance High Elves, the story telling they could do could really enrich the faction divide.
Just curious, what would most of you do if they gave a blue eyed option for blood elves, but no high elf allied race?
they already did both of these things. its called blood elf DK and the high elf AR is called void elf
they will just say eye color never mattered and claim āhighā elves still arent playable
Iād be happy for the belf players that wanted blue eyes, and keep asking for alliance high elves.
I think the reason VEās are former BEās is because Blizzard has been said to be divided on the issue. So had they wanted to do away with HEās they could have. But they chose not to, and the speech can be interpreted as pointed out
āNo plans in the near futureā
So you couple that with the fact theyāve been said to be split on the issue, then add the fact VEās are not former Alliance HEās, it validates the continued ask for HEās as well as always leaves the door open to possibility.
So while I do not advocate for Blue Eyes BEās I do not think anyone will deeply care.
DK is a class, void elves are not high elves. Iām just curious what the high elf fans would do. Because theyāre not all going belf DK or void elf. Iām wondering if they would change to Horde or give up on high elves if this happened.
Where does this rumor come from?
its still a playable BLOOD ELF(confirmed through multiple sources to be a HIGH ELF) with blue eyes(lol)
void elves are void corrupted high elves
another flavor of high elf, to quote development
