I play blood elves and want high elves. There’s proof that not every belf player is anti. And no matter how many alts you use, you’re still one player.

just like with ARs and void elves. shadowlands updated customization is gonna be another shocker for you few.

This won’t stop their request. If blood elves get blue eyes that just means blood elves get blue eyes.

They’ll still want to play the high elves they’ve been asking for.

I won’t lie to you, the answer is yes.

I don’t think many of them would care. Some might even be happy to kill them in PVP. Some might play both.

And those who know lore would know that high elves are already their own faction separate from blood elves and therefore it won’t be blood elves going neutral. Blood elves will still be horde.

If anything the april fools joke is blizzard showing that they read the forums and that they know of the request.

Blizzard adds allied races as they make sense for the story. We aren’t getting more in BFA and all of the BFA allied races were pre planned. Blizzard said they can start taking fan feedback in consideration for future allied races.

As it likely wouldn’t make sense in the story to get them in shadowlands I doubt we will get high elves in it likely not any allied races except possibly at the end after we have dealt with all the troubles in the shadowlands.

10.0 I am predicting to be an old world revamp. It has been pushed in the lore that time passes much slower in the shadowlands compared to azeroth. That means when we come back years could have passed leaving the old world in a great state to have changed as minor threats we have dealt with before had time to grow and the people time to rebuild and resettle.

An old world revamp would be a great time to add classic races such as high elves via the allied race system.

Most players probably could care less either way if approved, WOW would survive if approved, probably forgotten in a few weeks if approved, would be my guess. (imho)

I would absolutely love that. My bro gave me the idea that chromie time should’ve included pre-cata vanilla world, and though I understand why it isn’t feasible I’m tired after 10 years of most of that world still looking like it was just recently nuked. Moving on again would be very good for the game I think.

this is accomplished through void elves

but I think we have reached peak elf. cant go any higher or we will suffocate. there are so many more wonderful choices out in the wide world of warcraft to explore. people who like elves have two choices per faction now

wood elf, traditional fantasy high elf, magical dark elf and even another elf twisted by void magic. thats more then enough. time to stop wasting time on the impossible and move on to something actually new like ogres, naga, dryads, sethrak and my dream, the tortollans

Personally I and others want HE’s. I’m not going to jump to the races you particularly want. But I would say you’re more then capable of bringing attention to them, via a thread or something yourself, I wish you all the success, as I think the HE request will be successful in the end because of the passionate fans behind the request.
