High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

That was good on both sides.

Lots of gray and lots of black bits too. Like a war story should be.

But they can’t see to hold it past half an Xpac at most.

I got money on them doing a timeskip at the end of Shadowlands, personally.

The first Battle of the Undercity and the Alliance declaring war was good as far as both factions being right from their own perspective too.

I just threw up in my mouth a little.

We haven’t seen a single instance of them fighting Sin’dorei (in terms of lore) though. Void Elves only took up study of the Void to protect these people, and now they’re suddenly perfectly fine with killing them? IF that is truly the case, they should at least show them doing just that. Show that they’re willing to fight against the Sin’dorei, for the Alliance.

…But they were at the battle of Lorderon.

Sin’dorei weren’t present at that fight. Lor’themar was alone.

How? The trolls are the ones who pushed High Elves to the humans the first time.

Gotta rebuild capitals for the Forsaken and night elves, the factions most associated with Life and Death, some time. The Death expansion seems like a reasonable time.

Besides you don’t want to fight the Blood Elves, you need them to help lead every Horde Rebellion.

Armani trolls and wasn’t that a long time ago. Lorderon had to use an old oath just to get them out of Silvermoon to reluctantly save Azeroth… and all humans aren’t the Alliance!

So we are to head canon assume when in battle with the Horde they let all the Blood Elves get away?? Nothing I’ve seen makes me assume that, they may have come out of thin air but the lore we do have on them is that they weren’t that loyal to the Horde and are salty about being exiled, and just like Sylvanas coming in to help the Sin’dorei all those years ago as a former hero of their people, Alleria does the same and brings them into the Alliance.

This is true, but at some point they were already exiled, already changed to Void Elves, had no loyalty to the Horde their people had abandoned them, and Allerias offer must seemed logical to them, and since taking it we’ve seen them engage in the war campaign and fight for the Alliance.

They have fought for the Alliance.

I agree with you that they need more development. But I don’t think I need to see a Void Elf specifically fight a Blood Elf to know their Alliance now, they’ve been fighting the entirety of the Fourth War for the Alliance.

Dalaran only gets out of bed for world ending threats now. They don’t care about Horde and Alliance bickering.

So?

The heirs or whatever to the leader who saved the High Elves (because he brought the human tribes together to make them strong enough to even take on the trolls at all) are the ones who went to SW. That’s part of what that post I linked for you explains with the quotes and where they are from.

Never saw it and wouldn’t have remembered it by now anyway. If it’s one of those videos they aren’t very reliable. High Elves aren’t that important to me, I mean I dislike them and really don’t want them to be playable, but this is something I do to procrastinate. I don’t actually think about it when I’m not on here.

It’s all from wowpedia, which no one has come along to refute yet. If I bother to gather it again will you actually read it?

Oof, right there with you.

I’m avoiding moving stuff over to my new place right now by doing this.

If it’s the high elf page, I’ve read the high elf page and your stance is generous at best. Though if it’s something else make sure you’ve tagged me and not when I’m being swarmed. I’m going to bed see you next time I’m working from home or am trying to figure out how to do more damage.

Maybe give it to Guzzle to send to me on Discord.

I had like 104 emails when I got home today.

Why on Azeroth would it be the High Elf page? It’s like a handful of articles covering Arathi, SW, and High Elves along with the wars.

It’s not worth it at this point. Good luck figuring stuff out.

I honestly wouldn’t say it’s too crazy? Talk to Umbric and Alleria. Both of them want the Sin’dorei to rejoin the Alliance. Are they truly willing to fight them? We know that Umbric and his followers think something like this: “My followers and I felt no loyalty to the Horde.”, but they also have a desire for the Sin’dorei to rejoin the Alliance? I highly doubt they’re going to be alright with taking their lives.

“And one day, I pray we will bring all of Silvermoon back into the fold.”.

We still haven’t seen them have a single interaction with any Sin’dorei yet. We don’t know how they view or treat each other. And by potentially being lenient to BLood ELves, they’re being lenient to the Horde.

Against most but not all of the Horde. As Umbric said before, they were all happy to break away from the Horde. We already knew they didn’t care about the Orcs, Trolls, Tauren and Undead. Sin’dorei are part of that Horde though, and it’s (kind of?) clear that the Void ELves still care for them.

If they’re truly willing to fight the Sin’dorei, I want to see it. It’d make both the Void ELf and Sin’dorei story more interesting, and it’d give both fans of Alliance and Horde some sense of “faction rivalry”, which seems to be a big deal for WoW.
