The thing is - why helves? Why not velves, gnomes or humans?

Well that is in large part due to incompetence on the horde commanders.

Each of their airships has that massive frontal gun. That gun is capable of one shoting any alliance airship. The reason why is because it can easily piece the hull of the alliance airship. AT that point it detonates and so long as it hits center of mass in 1 of the 2 gun decks it will set off a chain reaction destroying the entire ship.

Of course blizzard doesn’t try to even go for any semblance of realism much to my dismay. I am not asking for everything to be realistic nor do I want it to but can we not have the commanders and leaders of both factions be incompetent on matters of war?

Tbf we cannot say Alliance commanders are clever either - Anduin went to Lordaeron without gas masks. Seriously what the heck.

This is true. Rather than putting limits on the factions so they don’t dominate in the story via internal politics disrupting things they instead opt to make everyone in charge an idiot at war.

Many of them know how to fight but that is about it. They don’t know anything about tactics and strategy. It hurts to watch.

In all seriousness - this thread was not created officially by the community. The OP thought it was appropriate to recover the love thread and as such published it. I can understand her reasoning, but I in particular wouldn’t have done it, but here we are.
