Everyone else has given great replies so I’ll only say that the post you replied to is meant to refer to the ramifications of Blood Elves, not Void Elves.
I myself have argued for more options fitting the Void Elf identity such as other unnatural hair colors and Alliance derived styles. Sure I want blonde hair(Alleria) and a couple of styles the Blood Elves have(in addition to other Alliance races), but on the whole I would rather the opportunity to present a Thalassian with new and different aesthetics to Blood Elves.
Oh and the post is supposed to be a commentary on Blizzard’s actions seemingly based on community feedback, not my own personal preferences.
I disagree with some of the pro-high elf behavior and statements made in this thread myself, but disparaging everyone is uncalled for.

I would agree if it wasn’t for the fact that the Void theme is already there?? It’s complete! Now if it was Dark Ranger options, i could see it make sense! I could see why people were upset that they received jewelry and eye colors instead of another theme such as Dark Rangers but this is NOT the case. The Void theme in Void Elves is cemented to their very core, their voices, their voice lines, and their racial abillities.
There is no replacing or removing the void theme when it’s such an intricate and cemented part of our identity. I think it’s fine to say you would like more void things but to say someone else is erasing the void out of void elves because they want High Elf customization’s is rather silly.
This thread should be renamed into the elf argument thread.
I will just add my opinion for now,
Void elves should totally get more customizations, more the just tentacles like void particle tattoos and shadowy hair styles.
I like Nico’s idea of a tenticle toggle, it adds to hairs that don’t have tenticles as well as give ve HE options without taking more from BE’s
HE options to VE is going to happen regardless of what we argue.
So I will add in an request for HE to also be included to LF as alternative option to HE customization (via race toggle with 3 others.) To counteract those HE that refuses the void for the same reasons they refused the teaching rommath gave to the be, as well as let ppl to as the 2nd war veterans.
That’s a fair point. I don’t want void abilities on my High Elf, so High Elves should be added to Alliance as a separate race.
We wish, but this is how they’re doing subraces now.
More options for player characters in an MMORPG is always a plus.

Let me give you the definition of removal " to ELIMINATE or get RID OF" “take (something) AWAY or off from the position occupied.” What Nico was proposing was to remove tentacles from hairstyles that have them BUT also adding tentacles to hairstyles that didn’t have them! Saying to someone who wants HE options that they are trying to REMOVE the void out of void elves instead of saying it’s going to lessen Void options (which is crazy false because that is essentially what void elves are) is stupid and it’s honestly a HUGE exaggeration .
What do Blood Elves get in return?

If you want something for Blood Elves go ask for it. Quit trying to creep and bargain with people making customization requests.
