I actually liked the goth dark elf theme. We didnt need light elf customozatin. Thats called blood elf.

(Commentary): Well, the original Void Elf, Alleria, has fair skin, blond hair, etc… so it’s a look for the Void Elves too.
I didn’t think gnomes could ever get a priority to be slain in BGs until I learned of the void elf and it’s endless complaining.
Where is the removing taking place? Is Nico saying that they should REPLACE the void themes and add high elf themes or is he giving you an alternative where you can have both?
No, they are a horde race… just because they used to be alliance doesnt mean they are not horde… lore says otherwise… void elves should not be given Helf features because they are touched by the void (in a different way the alleria) this gives side effects they were “massed produced” for the sake of giving alliance their elves so you have to live with what lore decided for you… with the fell gone blood elves can now have gold or blue eyes because lore says so… see where this is going… you can not have Helves because lore says you cant. blizzard loves their lore.
Every time a Blood Elf player opposes Alliance High Elves, it encourages me to play an Alliance loyalist in Silvermoon.
I have a couple of Nelfs I’m gonna do that with. I will make one of them a half-elf with a shorter ear option just for giggles, too.

Blizzard specifically said that the new options are to give both sides the option to play a High Elf.
I actually have a High Elf spy from SI:7 Horde side now. Just waiting for SLs to drop to change his eyes over to blue.

Alleria’s way to become a Void Elf is the only viable option available for new Void Elves to be made.

Lore says there’s more High Elves living in Stormwind alone than the entire population of Gnomes and Darkspear Trolls combined.
There are hardly any Void Elves in existence and their name is apt for the amount of backstory they have. Alliance High Elves are far more justified than anything other than maybe Zandalari Trolls.

Elf please … I think it’s really disrespectful to write from character at level 20 at first . I am playing with 8x Void elves … and I am really happy about the High elf options. I would accept more void options , but would like normal hair colors and more Haircuts without octopus in it .
(Observation): Thankfully devouring the Heart of a Dark Naaru is but one option at the very end of a long training process. I imagine any number of alternative sources of void energy could be substituted easily. What isn’t easy would be replicating the precise ritual under the precise circumstances and interrupting it at the precise moment.
You can only say this if you pretend blood elf isnt playable.
