If pandas on both horde and alliance look identical, I don’t see how blood elves and void elves are any different. Just check if you can group up or whisper them or attack them lol.
lol
I guess you just can’t see very deeply.
I’m sure many other people already understand that Horde High/Blood Elves were playable first. Some of us would like to keep what we have on the Horde without it being on the alliance. There’s not much left but to some of us it’s important to hold on to what differences we can.
They need to just give every race a Night Warrior questline that unlocks a new skin tone and eyes. Feltotem for HMT, Dark Ranger for Belfs, etc…
Implying void elves don’t already have those
I dunno, I think I’m gonna look pretty snazzy come prepatch. I do still want more hair color options, but I can make do with what I have until allied races get their customization pass.
Here’s my Mage, Lock and Hunter:

I think they look amazing.
Bruh, one was advertised as neutral the other wasn’t. that’s the difference. And the devs acknowledged they don’t want to do that again because they like variety.
Looking good!!
I’d be inclined to agree with you before void elves got natural skins and blue eyes. I don’t even want blood elf hair or colors. I just want natural colors. For some reason people think “natural” means steal everything from the blood elves. That’s not what I’m saying, if they got the colors from Kul’Tiran and a hide tentacle option that would be great.
Correction… one former dev (Ghostcrawler)… said after he left Blizzard… that he thought Pandaren were a mistake. As far as I know, no one else has said such any thing while employed at Blizzard.
That doesn’t mean you’re wrong however. The Blizzard devs might well believe that Pandaren being neutral was a mistake. I just haven’t seen any evidence of them actually holding that view as a whole. And even if they did at the time Ghostcrawler left and made that tweet, as Garrosh as told us:
I say just give Alliance their High elves and put this to rest.
High elves will likely never happen as a race. The only thing we can hope for at this point is natural hair colors and a hide tentacle option for void elves to give us high elf looking toons.
And after that people will want Void elves renamed and a new batch of racials to reflect that change.
You’ll get blonde hair colors in another 15 years maybe. But good luck.
At this point I think it’s more unlikely for an Alliance High Elf allied race to happen than ever before. The devs seem to be going in the direction of customizations fulfilling the request for derivative races. They even called the new Void Elf options “High Elf Customization Options”. It seems clear to me that the devs intend for Alliance players seeking the High Elf fantasy, to achieve that through Void Elves using customization options.
That’s not to say there isn’t more needed to finish the aesthetic (i.e. some traditional hair colors, and a tentacle toggle at the very least), and it would certainly be nice to see some in-game lore building some foundation for the Ren’dorei and giving us more insight into why these High Elf Wayfarers and Silvermoon Scholars are joining them, and also just how they are acquiring their mastery over the void.
It might also be cool to see how Umbric and his transformed kin interact with these new recruits that weren’t forcibly transformed like he and his squad were.
That would be really cool, the new generation of void elves. Honestly, the squad that actually were transformed into half ethereals were very small in numbers. This could help show that void elves are growing in population, through outside entities merging with their faction.
Void elves need blonde hair.
This is important to the Alliance.
Personally, I thought when void elves came out the silver covenant would completely merge with them in BFA. Alleria seems to be doing a much better job as leader than Vereesa.
Blood elves just need to come back home and stop being edgy.
The grip of MCR is too strong. The sunwell can’t even lure them back.
