This was my thought as well. High Elves to Alliance, Amani and/or San’layn to Horde. Not sure if Harronir will be neutral or Alliance only as from lore speculation they are guarding the roots of Elun’ahir that Eonar and Elune planted in Azeroth before Amanthul ripped it out, so they could have a good connection to the Kaldorei from their shared mutual Goddess/interest in preserving life. I wouldn’t be mad at Harronir + High Elves to the Alliance and Amani + San’layn to the Horde at all.

They are really setting up the Horde Sunreaver Blood Elfs and Alliance Silver Covenant High Elfs as two very visually prominent factions, their new mogs are all gorgeous and super striking in contrast with eachother! The rich deep reds of the Sunreavers and deep striking blue of the Silver Cov are both so gorgeous in-game.

I’m torn. On the one hand I’d like some non emo hairstyles so using the belf ones would be easy for blizz, but since some people prefer to be able to tell the difference/have differences and like the hair styles in this thread, I’d love those instead of the belves.

Put on a helmet on a void elf and a blue eyed blood elf then you wont be able to tell the difference anyway. Honesty, the only thing that matters is what you personally want to see. I don’t care what hairstyle or color other people picked, i just use what i like, so ultimately thats all that matters to me

Personally I think the best solution is to share some hairstyles across Belves and Velves, let Belves keep the handful of new hairstyles they got in the Shadowlands customization update, and give Velves a few new unique hairstyles too that make good use of the tentacle toggle. So they aren’t 100% the same options but the majorty of the basic ones are.
But knowing the Devs I forsee either new Velf hairstyles or no new Velf hairstyles and just sharing the Belf ones

Void elves can officially be void elves like Alleria, they really need some new high elf hairstyles.
Sharing BE/VE hairstyles or new HE customizations, now both are possible.

Same. Hell, I’ll be happy even if we only get the foxtail and falcon hairstyles lol. And before anyone says it, yes, I know void elves have one similar to the foxtail, but it comes paired with a vegeta hairline and just looks disgusting overall

I’ve realized that most people who want hairstyles shared are on male Velfs and I went and looked at the hair options and I understand why now lol
They really said y’all aren’t gonna get any hairstyles without a messed up hairline
