Do not give us a race name toggle.
Void elves was the highest played AR in BFA aside from vulpera and ZT trolls. And this was before they got the skin tones.

Everything’s hard to judge without actual numbers. I mean, you could have equal numbers of voidy and non-voidy on at the same time, and if the voidy ones are questing and there’s a bunch of non-void ones chilling in a hub, it’ll look like there’s more of the other.
And there’s always the question of longevity. Lots of people will make alts to try something out and delete them or let them gather dust (looks at a lot of characters on a lot of servers in his list)
And I’m just kinda the opposite from a lot of people, I feel like some of the more niche races should get a bit more attention to maybe see if it’ll bring some players to them rather than piling up on the favorites all the time.
See, if you say that kind of thing, then that contradicts Tarrok’s statement. And there is no proof that those void elf players are fully void elf fans than high elf fans in there.
You mean like Dark Iron Dwarves ? Yeah. I’d like some of them too.
I went back today for little while, seen the same thing I seen yesterday, though I only went to one server and spent only like an hour there, but peeps were just chilling talking outside the barber shop was pretty cool. didnt want to flood the forums with more pics hehe…
If they where not void elf fans, then the numbers would had been lower then vulpera’s and ZT.
Allot of people are happy with void elves being voidy. I strongly beleive allot of those fans is unaware of the 9.1.5 patch and haven’t taken to the forums yet.
What would that change in the first place?
You’re talking about how Blood Elves were in BC even though that has nothing to do with the High Elf request.
Also the whole thing has been pretty self evident since Void Elves were released.
Anyways, here is Jeremy Feasel in 2018 saying that the biggest request for WoW is High Elves.
WoW Battle for Azeroth Dev Interview - Islands and Wrathion - YouTube
Then we’ll just acknowledge that since Void Elves were released there was a three year long internet war for High Elf options.
and then anecdotally I see way more Void Elves sporting natural skin tones and the like… two non tentacle hairstyles than real spookdorei.
I guess you could also throw in the current wailing about, “The requests never stop.” ontop of that.
I am at the point of stop requesting once paladin (void but holy can be glyphed) can be a thing for void elves/high elf with some non voidy hairstyles. Shamans and Druids are like minor wish list.
But regardless, if devs actually grant them… I am shutting up from this point on. They’ve just granted me enough :x
There really no need to argue the reasons anymore, the Ds defiantly have a plan in the works, the changes are coming its feels good. Peeps are just arguing over titles now and names.
This is getting out of hand.
Look, I love High Elves, especially the Kirin Tor High Elves because the Kirin Tor mages are awesome.
But, while it’s true that High Elves and Void ELves are different, stop wanting to minimize the principal race, Void Elves.
I for see them merging the concept of the 2 for the Alliance,
You can’t merge 2 opposing concepts together, that will create a plot-hole where both suffers.
Too late.
It’s called Shadowlands.
You’re the one using the perceived popularity of the options as reason for more catering to your wish.
Because it has everything to do with the request. Blizzard gave us High Elves then, some people have not been able to cope with that fact.
Nope. Not what he said. Just a throwaway joke that does not indicate any numbers, just volume of the request. Saying that it’s the biggest/most popular/whatever you want is just assumption.
No it’s not, the story have not “merged” them.
actually they already are starting that process
no they are not, one with integrity does not choose to become one with the void.
I’m not arguing that there are no Void Elf fans. you exist. Fen exists. Nico exists.
But the argument as presented is: “High Elf people want to wipe void elf people out.”
and that’s not the reality.
They just want to play what they want to play. They’re going to request what they want to play.
