High Elf compromise

AR sounded good in the beginning.
But in reality, good class design, better core customization would have been better.

Besides a void elf I don’t even play the AR I have unlocked. In the end it’s just another alt to level with the same classes.

I’d give them Man’ari eredar. They’d never be accepted by the Alliance (mostly due to the Draenei/Lightforged) but the Horde has a history of welcoming even the most unlikely of allies, especially if it provides a military advantage. Lacking leadership and being reviled across the multiverse, some Man’ari might be interested in joining an established power group like the Horde. And hey they are already red!

I respectfully disagree.

Nelfs are already getting a peachy skin tone, and a type of blonde (autumn orange-but everyone is calling it sandy blonde)

I´d not deny the option for some pinkish skin tones similar to Belves on Velves as long as people stop with the ridiculous qq regarding blue eye blood elf customization.

Yeah, hypocritical mana veganism… such a crucial differentiation!!

Man, legitimately SC et al ARE more crappy than Blood Elves. At least the Blood elves did something to get out of the whole Arthas threw them down; Helves are basically parasites from the Humans, useless in everything.

WC3 says “Hi”. No theft whatsoever dude.

A compromise i could get behind, (though void elves are already THE compromise) would be giving horde eredar with blue skin customizatiom.

Scratch that. Keep the red. Red fits horde better anyway. I would race change for that. I love space goats, but i just can’t play alliance for some reason.

And yet, we didn’t need a compromise when we have been asking for what has already been with us here in the Alliance from the beginning.

Lordaeron humans imprisoned / wanted to execute them. not stormwind. Yadada.

WC2 high elves teamed up with lordaeron humans. NOT stormwind humans. So no. High elves were not in the stormwind alliance in the first place.

I actually think this idea has potential. If they conjoined the Silver Covenant with the Void Elves and some lore about Vereesa and Alleria together doing this, then yes this could be a viable idea.

To be ABSOLUTELY clear, i want to play High Elves of the Silver Covenant, they don’t need to have all of the skin choices that Blood Elves have, but i do want them to have the Blue eyes with the white Sclera that all the Silver Covenant Elves have.

Whether that happens by giving the Alliance High Elves while giving the Horde Ogres as core races or they write some lore about joining the groups of The Silver Covenant and Vereesa with the Void Elves and Alleria, either way is fine.

Well the compromise would be to let the horde and alliance join into a goody-two-shoes faction and let there be a antagonist playable faction.

And yet, the Highvale Elves are within the Alliance. We also have the Silver Covenant that are also with the Alliance. And also few scattered High Elves across Azeroth that are also with the Alliance.

Also, when Quel’thalas left the Alliance, not all the High Elves did too back in the Second War.

Yes. Not all go back to Quel thalas after the war. Some stayed in the LORDAERON ALLIANCE. NOT stormwind.

Also, there are ogre npcs for horde. Are they playable? If you argue that high elves be made playable due to silver covenant, then ogres should be playable due to stonemaul clan.

High elves are blood elves. But they split politically. The alliance high elves have been present in nearly every expansion. Most notibably in mist of pandaria and legion. Where their forces led assaults against the thunder king and against suramar. If blizz truly wanted to end the high eld debate why do the keep throwing them front and center of the alliance. There are some in the void elf starting area. I’d say 1 they are teasing the alliance players with them. But not to be malicious. Blizz is simply saving them for a break glass jar and increase sub revenue moment.

I think Ogres should be made playable for the Horde, the same as High Elves be made playable for the Alliance.

And also,

So, you saying Vareesa and her rangers were helping the Alliance of Lordaeron with the Horde invasion, not the Alliance of Stormwind?

No, Blood Elves are High Elves, but not all High Elves are Blood Elves.

With the new Kul tiran model I think we will see playable ogres. Blizz wouldn’t create fat humans for nothing. There was plenty of people saying how against it they were. The model is a place holder for ogres. And yes blizz should make ogres playable.

Tomatoe, tomatoes

Kul Tiran is a joke. Should’ve been customization’s for Humans, nor an AR.

Vareesa is not assisting stormwind alliance against the horde. It was the lorderaon alliance.

Stormwind was NOT in the lorderon alliance, being destroyed by the horde in WC1.

Vareesa’s first mission iirc, was AFTER the second war.

Edit: also this

agreed. But I’ll put money on it “when” horde get ogres they will use the kul Turan model. Blizz knew what theybl were doing when they made KT so…unique. and it wasn’t because the alliance was requesting a fat race to play. I wonder if the horde requested a fat race to play… weird.

All of my responses are well elaborated ones, that you can simple refute if they weren’t, but most of it is ignored or the main points deflected with more headcanon and fallacies.

They didn’t, because blood/high elves LEFT, the alliance in warcraft 3, the frozen throne campaign, there, they already had nothing to do with the alliance, and were never part of the alliance, so, it was impossible to blur something.

They didn’t because they changed their models and their thematic

Different model with different thematic.

They didn’t make zandalari light-worshipers, zandalari are, just like all trolls, Loa worshipers.

werewolves, HUMANS becoming wolves, was not a fantasy of the horde.

they didn’t, dark irons were not horde.

Thats obnoxiously wrong, and just show how nonsense your responses have being, completely biased with tons of headcanon.

You think putting THE SAME race of the horde in the alliance is a “breath of fresh air” compared to other unique races, is a biased nonsense.

You said high elves is what reinforce what is alliance is all about, this is asinine, High elves do not reinforce what is alliance, high elves are not a playable race there, and they are not anymore part of the alliance fantasy.

Just because they show up in some scenarios by being sideckicks don’t mean they “reinforce what the alliance is all about”.

Any race of the alliance stay on the alliance, i don’t want any race of the alliance going horde, same as i don’t want any race of the horde becoming available in the alliance

Its the same alliance, by Metzen own words

They definitely where in the alliance, only the city was destroyed.
