First, I’d like to thank you for being reasonable. Perhaps I jumped too quickly on you and I apologize for that.
I understand that points can be missed and things can be glossed over, I do it as well. It just feels like to me that whenever I post in a topic like this it gets especially bad, to the point where it feels intentional. The worst example I always see is “Blood elves are High Elves” which both completely misses the point, but is also very often used very dismissively.
Despite how heated I seem I dont spend that much time in these threads, or even these forums anymore so I don’t know that many current names. All I can do is speak from my limited experience from what i’ve seen.
Perhaps hate is a strong term but I’ve seen a lot of pretty nasty early responses to high elf threads. I get that the threads are literally everywhere but it really doesn’t paint the side against it in a good light. Especially when many of the other posts on the topic are also very dismissive without giving a good reason why.
