Sometimes people pretend to claim a rational middle ground to increase their bargaining position, but I suspect this is just a jab at us. I think they’re trying to use it as a shield.

its the constantly highlighting the fact alliance high elves are fair skinned and blonde, as if was a bad thing to want a fair skinned blonde character, and its often fair skinned blonde blood elfs doing the pointing out… its a bit subtle but it never ever lists the various things we asked for on our playable high elves, like skin tones from pale to black, various non belf hair styles and hair colors, a different idling stance, normal non glowing eyes in various colors. but all they keep harping on is fair skinned and blonde, to give it the subtle overlay that we’re just racists.
This has been suggested many, many times, and you’re not going to get it. My recommendation: Reroll horde, get your friends to reroll Horde, tank any and all faction balance to make the Alliance-Horde divide the biggest joke in MMO history, or quit. It’s that simple really. For something so core to the game, I kind of want to see it up in flames given the differences in attention and effort I’ve seen both factions given. (Also I orginally played Horde & Alliance, leaned very heavily Horde by the end of my first spat in this game. The impatient whiners that are currently Horde who want wins given to them aren’t real Horde. I saw so many more early key abandons on my DH that I know, for a fact, the current Horde is the vanilla Alliance reskinned, those 13 year olds never grew up). I feel sorry for real Horde race players that stuck through all this BS and can recognize the soul of their faction is gone.

also, thalyssra and lor’themar confirm that one of the strengths of the horde is that the individual members retain their traditions and identity. so if they really wanted high elf lore theyd be playing blood elves. i mean the story of a fallen people trying to restore their greatness and kingdom is already taken so what story can an alliance high elf tell that isnt already being told

The blue eyes on HE were a result of living off the Sunwell, a source of pure arcane energy.
The green eyes come from fel dependancy. They got over it and now the Sunwell is a mix of holy and arcane energy, there’s no reason for them to have blue eyes.

I do see toxicity though, it comes from how you and Hecatone butcher my posts via quotes and snip out any point you dont like, replying with “Hey look, they’re toxic too so it’s fine.”
That attitude is what I see most from the Anti crowd. It doesn’t matter if you bring up how the alliance has a faction of high elves already, or how Alleria, their leader, is exactly what people want. It always dissolves into the same dismissive statements that sometimes dont even correlate.
