I’m mostly happy about the changes, but I wonder why they don’t just make the options the same across the board, since Void Elves still get their purple on when they’re in combat.
Also I guess they’re going to get some appropriately tentacle-y body jewelry, which I will never use.

couldnt be said better! its a time of celebration not complaining. i mean this is the forums but for the first time ive seen an overwhelming postive response from this. way more then negative. this is history 15 years in the making. congrats everyone. my wildhammer dwarf will be happy to fight along u high elfs!
(Commentary): It’s not much worse than Mag’har at this point to be honest. Horde players wanted their Outland Mag’har, and got their AU Draenor time shenanigans Mag’har that are living proof that Orcs are genocidal monsters WITHOUT the demon koolaid.
(Commentary): That said, I’ll be all for players who want Paladins, a way to toggle off Entropic Embrace’s obnoxious blue glow, and some lore to say the High Elves and Void Elves joined under one flag.
I had moments of rage, toxicity, and pettiness here, and I wanna apologize for that.
I think it’s time to stop the long unhealthy fight between pro-he and anti-he crowds, because at the end of the day, while not true High Elves, we both get a taste of High Elves (Horde/Alliance) in these new customizations options (Blue eyes for BE and fair Skin for VE).

It’s okay!!! Life moves on and everyone had strong opinions on both sides. You were just speaking your feelings into the world, and you should always be able to do that.

I’m really happy with this. I think they did the right thing.
And Ion said they would show how the void elves replenish their numbers. Now that they have all the same tones and such, they can have the remaining high elves rally around Alleri a and BOOM she teaches them void control and the void elves and SC together have a population that even you antis cant argue with.
So silver covenant ceases to exist because it fuses under alleria’s void elf faction, and the thing high elves cease to exist. Anti’s didnt want alliance to have a carbon copy of a blood elf model thats what most of us have been arguing about.
So I think there should be a toggle for racials. Entropic embrace, arcane embrace, nature’s embrace could be options. They each would have a different effect, and this way people who don’t enjoy entropic embrace would have other options.
And the alliance wanted separate high elves. Its called compromise. Would you have really accepted it if they treated you like the night elves and gave us taller models with longer ears but that are otherwise pale light haired elves with blue eyes?
yeah and the compromise continues to be a thorn in the hordes side. In reality its a alliance victory no matter how small it was. I’m tired of seeing so many elves might as well just throw everything in the trash that made sense.
Now I have a request. Change void elves to exiles and give them some additional hair colors. Doing this will make it to where high elves are not necessary as a separate race. Exiles will simply include all alliance thalassian elves.
New racials would also be appreciated.

I’m happy to be sure, but not satisfied. Granted this is a brand new story and it COULD be added later or simply not featured. But the LAST thing I need before I’m satisfied is the Blond hair. Once the Blond hair is added to Void Elf customization I’ll officially be done with any and all asks
