They also had a reason they looked different, not just “yeah they’re different now yeet”.
Those elves do not make use of High Elves themes and culture though, they’re more like Blood Elves, and the Nightborne.
Highborne are only “exact like” normal high elves until Blizzard decides to use them as the focus of a story or as a customization option. Then you’ll see them suddenly having fancy hairstyles, jewelry, eye and/or skin color and maybe even unique facial features or idle stance.
Because that’s how it works. It all depends on focus.
They’d have to make them playable first.
They were retconned into existence. This alone says a lot.
Maybe we’ll find some High Elven island in the future, you know, Darth’remar probably had some cousins.
Are Void Elves made up of the High Elves that never left the Alliance in the first place? No… they are Blood Elves who had gotten caught up in a void ritual that had changed them. They were once apart of the Horde.
Are the Void Elves the ones that have been helping us through the Silver Covenant or have been apart of the Highvale that are the ones we’ve been referring too this entire time? No… once again… they were Blood Elves.
Void Elves do not fulfill the story arc and the people we desire to play.
Theeeeen roll a blood elf and pretend?
Don’t know what to tell you. It’s like wanting to be one of the fogsail human pirates. Yeah they are there, that does not mean humans should be playable on the horde.
You know what they’ll say now since there’s no chance of that happening.
Alterac, Syndicate or Defias humans on the Horde would be pretty neat, though
I see no problem with that at all.
Yeah, right. You try pretending to fight for the opposite faction, while questing in the current expansion, or Mists of Pandaria.
Yeah its not going to happen though.
The only time it matters is in RP. So…get that mod.
If Void Elves do not fill the fantasy of what we desire to play, and they are not the people or the story arc we desire, knowing full well they have once been Blood Elves as I’ve stated, what makes you think Blood Elves do anything different for anyone?
The reason you don’t know what to tell anyone is because you know that what we are asking for is reasonable and you just don’t want them because you don’t want them, and nothing more.
If you desire something else to become playable, then by all means, ask for it. No one is stopping you from doing so.
They’re pale, noble, and act like high elves since they preserved the culture and aesthetic.
Sounds like you’re trying to speak for me to deal with your own issues of not understanding why people disagree with you.
I simply do not see a reason to make a race playable twice, hold the alliance back from diversifying itself and moving forward, and damaging the faction boundaries.
And nothing is stopping others from opposing me.
So…spend more time actually justifying your argument instead of complaining I don’t agree with you
Never say never.
never happening dude.
Horde humans won’t happen simply because there’s no real demand for them. The explanation is there, but not many people want it
Even if the explanation is there, it would kill the faction boundary for sure. That is something which needs to be preserved and keeps WoW above other MMOs
Sorry, is that the key factor that keeps WoW above other MMOs? Faction identity?
Lol you’ll grasp at all the straws you need hu, Broflake?
I think it’d be ok with humans so long as the culture of the Horde varient was nothing like those of Stormwind. Wouldn’t be so weird to see humans killing each other, they do it in real life all the time
