Damn that is the biggest bait I have ever seen!
Hi uncle Hazzikostas.
Count me in as a massive supporter of High Elves as the next Alliance playable race.
Haters will hate! Like the dude typing at this moment
Who said Pandaren arenāt a problem? It never made sense for them to join the horde. Luckily thereās only one panda race and they pretty much died out after MoP, and have always been kind of a joke race. I wouldnāt use pandas as an example of how to do anything right though.
Bookmarked yet again. Thanks again Casmir!
You said it would be confusing for game play. I dunno how hard it is for you to see an enemy in PvP, but Iāve never had difficulty finding a Pandaren that was the enemy vs. a Pandaren on my team. For oneā¦ It wonāt let you attack a player on your team.
It can still be a critical mistake in a pvp situation to spend time determining a characters faction based on non obvious visual cues. But as I said, itās kind of a moot point as allied races, which is the umbrella under which people want high elves to fall under, has set a different precedent, and the pandas are a single race, wheras with elves we already have six races counting the demon hunters as their own faction.
For who? You? Cause like I said, I have never ever mistaken a Pandaren on my side as an enemy. Their nameplates look different and you canāt even attack them.
Itās a bad argument. Sorry.
There you go and you are welcome.
One of the core tenants of user experience design is never underestimate the stupidity of your users. So yeah, people do get confused by stuff like that and worse all the time. I myself am one of these low IQ people that gets put off in a BG when a pandas barrels into my group and I have to click on it to see if I can DOT it when I could be doing something else.
But you neatly side stepped the fact that I said it was a moot point, and presented my primary rebuttal, which is that there are six races of elves you can choose from, so there is a saturation problem that does not exist with pandas, and that allied races seem to be following a different trend than what we say with MoP.
Donāt let the helferās hate keep you from posting your views.
Please donāt spam the same video twice in the same thread. Iām not going to engage trolling if I can avoid it. That video missed several of the points Iāve already brought up including minimal visual distinction of allied races only occurs on same faction and weāve reached a large number of elf races already, and void elves are already a splinter group of the high elves on the alliance filling the role you want high elves to fill.
Ok lets address this as well then since I āside stepped itā then I will go back to my original point.
I wasnāt aware there was some hidden cap for allied races or a type of race in the game. Please let me know where you got this information.
Thatās really sad that you would admit that, but I think you are full of bologna.
Bad argument is bad so I wonāt continue arguing with bad.
I timestamped the part about population since you keep bringing up that argument since its been debunked several times.

Iāve seen little to no hate from either side yet, so anyone saying there is are either very sensitive or arenāt reading the posts right. If I didnāt notice something, feel free to point it out.
Bumping topics is against the rules of the forum. So your post is simply trolling.
Some of the allied races might be low pop lore wise, but they are physically distinctive from other races. Not just in terms of skin tone, but an actual genetic or experimental change that differentiates them from a larger group. In the case of high elves, they are only different from an ideological perspective.
Really, they are there to serve the silver covenant storyline, which is practically over at this point. Wowhead shows the location of the majority of the NPCs as either CF or IC. Bu the video embellishes the total number of high elf NPCs if Wowhead is accurate.
Iām sure that as time goes on, we will have more races that are similar to another, such as trolls, humans, tauren, and ect. Even different races that have the same skeleton model but different skins. I think every race, if at at all possible to the lore in a sensible way, should be made available.
I admit that there are a lot of playable elves in the game and that a lot of people play as elves, but is that a bad thing? If something needs to be fixed, it isnāt the elves, itās the other races. If there was more customization, I think things would even out a bit more.
I came here to give likes and talk about High Elves and unfortunately Iām all out of likes atm ā¦ so in the meantimeā¦
YES TO HIGH ELVES!! Thank you again Casmir and Iām actually loving that these threads have spawned over to EU, LATAM, and CN! Just incredible!
Also I do agree, letās stop engaging in old cyclical arguments that have been discussed to death!
I also agree with this actually:

Danellos: My view is that, due to the popularity of the idea of Alliance high elves, it should be something we need to work to earn. Maybe not something as grindy or time-gated as reputations, but perhaps some actual (somewhat) challenging or interesting solo content we need to engage with with an intricate story that really does justice to this race.
Whatās the board here think?
As always, full support and thank all you wonderful people for your continued support and the contribution youāve all given in terms of time, passion, and skill towards High Elves!
Ideology can cause a lot of change in someoneās appearance, such as posture, skin, and so on. This is why we propose different models for them, which would differentiate them from Blood Elves.
