I dont think Avarie was saying they wont do ARs again.
I was saying thereâs no reason for them to not continue adding them though.
So basically we agree.
My mistake, you phrased your previous statement in a weird way⊠made misinterpret it.
I had almost no sleep last night, so typing sentences is hard.
You should probably get some sleep. Typing on the Forums or staying all day on the Forums isnât good for your health.
Iâd love to, but Iâm a single mom so I have to wait for the kiddo to go to sleep first.
ZZZquil, for when baby needs to go to sleep. NOW
sure there is. could argue that you dont want that but something else. could argue against sanâlayn that you dont want more elves (lore knows thats been an argument against high elves), particularly more thalassian models on the horde. could argue that fox people is too kiddy game/anime/disney. could argue that gnomes are already one of the least played races on alliance, and with alliance struggling for players, something more popular would work better. could argue that alliance already has too many tentacle races, so broken or krokuul is overkill. could argue that ogre females would be ugly and no one would play them. could argue the same for female fish people. we have ingame evidence, that ugly females are the least played race/gender combo and a waste of developer time. etc
Most of those arguments are subjective and a matter of preference Hyper.
The argument about their being too many elves is a stupid one, and not one I engage in or would ever take serious consideration in.
high elves just exist in a playable form already.
so do gnomes and thalassian horde elves. the fact they already exist is overwhelmed by the fact, they already exist on both sides. iâm living proof that the alliance already has thalassian models, not just as playable, but also as an allied race we arent allowed to play. why should only the horde be able to have duplicate thalassians in the form of sanâlayn females? (i hope they get them. iâm just stating the obvious)
Population size or exitence of hubs donât matter.
Magâhar donât have a hub of operations as they were cut off from their home and have yet to establish a place of operation.
Void Elves are described as a âcrack squad.â In literal terms that thatâs less than 20 members, in figurative terms that still means very few.
well to be fair i have green and brown orcs both on horde. the belf AR went to alliance this time. so it wouldnât really be horrible if horde got an AR for their own race.
i hope they get them. iâm not against any of the ARs either side wants. though i do question the sanity of yet more alliance tentacle races (broken/krokuul)
iâd love broken for alliance and red angry ones for horde.
it looks so painful that their spinal nerves are on the outside of their spines. what was that for, anyway, does anyone know? illidan did that to them, right?
If youâre referring to Blood Elves, then no.
âWe are no longer High Elves.â - Kael Thas
If youâre referring to Void Elves, thatâs still not correct.
And no this isnât about biology, itâs about politics. Politics divides and unites far more than blood.
your gnome is adorbs. :>
Leinadh said they exist, I said âwhere?â.
I agree, they can pull a hub out of thin air - I was responding specifically to his statement and unsurprisingly he didnât answer.
i just watched asmongold do a new ptr quest chain involving wrathion. still no evidence of dragon isles
Then yes.
A name change doesnât change you.
If you were to change your legal name, it doesnât erase your past, or who you are, it is merely a name change. EWven if it is done to honor the people who died. it is still a name change. You are still that race, that culture.
Void elves are a different race, and they inherit the history of high elves.
Politics is literally not enough to make a race playable. Encyclopedia even says there are no differences, and that the high elves canât even be called a race.
I thought wrathion was retconned or something?
