High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

no they cant. there are no alliance high elf hubs where they could come from. the devs are on record saying this. the majority dont even live in alliance territory, they live in dalaran in a neutral capacity. and we know they are neutral because of said dev commentary. if they were alliance high elves the devs wouldnt say this. its not an accident every high elf citizen in dalaran is flagged as friendly even to the horde. it is not an accident the actual alliance aligned npcs are flagged as hostile in dalaran

That might be because of how the graphics are. Wowpedia says he had blue eyes previously.

That’s why I sometimes question the request for blue eyes for belfs. High elves are depicted pretty much with just blue eyes in game, but they actually had more than just blue eyes, and again it had nothing to do with magic.

the emissary is who i am talking about. he shows up to deliver a message from the front and has blue glowy eyes.

i’m evidence that it doesnt matter if they are neutral, friendly or hostile, if blizz wants to make them playable, they are playable

if the SC are not tagged as hostile in the past dalaran, they could not eject horde players from entering the alliance safe space. even flagged as neutral they cant do it

and we both know i can cite instances of them acting neutral outside of dalaran. the SC have alliance sympathies sure, i wont deny that, but they have had every opportunity to leave the neutrality of dalaran and set up shop in SW and join the faction war

stop using their alignment as an excuse then. i dont want to read that in anymore of your posts because its disingenuous to keep saying it

Oh. That emissary is human, not an elf. He’s sent by Garithos - he’s Garithos’ emissary to the elves, not the elves’ emissary to Garithos.

why do his eyes glow blue and not anybody elses? isnt that weird

Some odd mage thing, I expect.

Yo man, just because the SC take priority in helping the Kiring Tor (really to make sure the Horde dont do something to their city) doesnt make them neutral. The Kirin Tor is neutral. The SC opposes Horde and is friendly to the Alliance. Thats the very definition of an AR. Is friendly with one faction and opposes the other faction.

Were not here to debate why Blizzard hasnt written them to leave the Kirin Tor to help the Alliance because we dont have to. They are Alliance aligned and do so by making sure the Horde doesnt perform a coup on Dalaran. Stop saying theyre neutral. Theyre not neutral.

the SC operate as a unit within the kirin tor which is open about their neutrality. if they were alliance aligned the devs wouldnt tell us ‘there are no high elf hubs where they could come from’

there is a reason the 3 actual alliance high elves joined that joined the faction war put on a 7th legion uniform and not a SC one. there is a reason they arent a race that can spawn in a 7th legion uniform fighting the horde. because there are only a few individuals that are actually alliance aligned and we can actually see them. there is no alliance high elf population in SW. there is no alliance high elf army in the alliance. get real

Invoking what the devs have said is a sign of weakness in the arguement.

Highvale has not been destroyed.
Allerian strong hold still have high elves
And dalaran still has SC.

They operate as a unit to protect the Kirin Tor. They are not part of the Kirin Tor. Look at how the rep gains for them work. THEY ARE SEPARATE. Separate entities. Separate groups. One protects the other for the Alliance.

You really think these High Elves came from the SC? Really? You do know theres High Elves outside of the SC right? They probably arent even members of the SC. Get real.

The broken English prevents whatever point you’re making here from being understood. :man_shrugging:

The Silver Covenant is openly in favor of joining the Alliance. That they’re all citizens of Dalaran, who as a city-state has decided to remain officially independent from either faction, doesn’t change their particular political understanding.

As players are often asking for the Silver Covenant’s High Elves to become playable, all of whom are staunchly anti-Horde and anti-Blood Elf in particular, that you can cite to a couple instances whereby they’ve worked together or for a common good isn’t exactly relevant to what people are requesting.

Also, can’t believe I responded to Fyre. :man_shrugging:

what the devs say is pretty much the supreme law of the land. it cant be trumped until another dev says different

So friendly, i could just die!

I cant believe I still am. They obviously wont ever be ok with High Elves being added so its pointless to try and converse with them.
