well they could always make the unicorn look forward instead of a profile image
Yes exactly⊠Void Elves still have the (inverse) Phoenix symbol for some reason⊠well, they are Blood Elves after all
Maybe two rampant unicorns obverse of eachother?
With a sun in the center for the âstart of a new era?â
Something like this, but you know, less bad and drawn by someone who actually got some sleep recently.

Looks good though
Yes, exactly! Something like that
Alternatively something like this, but given the size of tabards it might be harder to do.

Thank you both!
Wow those are nice drawings!!
I think I still like better the first option, though.
nice!
no they are not a âtypeâ of elf, they are the exact same people. thats why blizzard always says blood elves are high elves. not blood elves are blood elves. all the high elf people did was change an adjective to honor the fallen
the adjective you cling to has become highly politicized in this thread. as we know a different political opinion isnt enough for an AR to become playable on the opposite faction. it really doesnt mean anything in the grand scheme of things. just look at quelâlithien lodge. as we know they were among the survivors of arthas and accepted the name change, then later rejected rommaths teachings and were exiled because lorthemar didnt want to rule over a divided nation at such a desperate time. and reverted back to referring to themselves as âhigh elvesâ showing how little and easy it is to use the adjective
Iâll try and expand on it. I am working on a high elf shammy too.
What if the tabard incorporated Thasâdorah or Quelâdelar? I do like the unicorn idea. Maybe update it so it looks more the Quelâdorei Steed you can get.
Following this, 90% of the surviving high elves changed their name to âblood elvesâ or sinâdorei (children of the blood in Thalassian) in remembrance of their fallen brethren, and no longer consider themselves high elven.
Thats a quote out of the Warcraft Encyclopedia published by Blizz. They clearly stated Blood Elves dont consider themselves High Elves.
Thasâdorah would be very appropriate, since Alleria is the most previous lore character to have owned it. She is a void elf, but seems more of a high elf in appearance
Mmm. The thing with Thasâdorah or Quelâdelar is that they sort of exclude magic practitioners, or at least thatâs how I feel about it.
Plus, Blood Elves currently hold Quelâdelar in their power, am I right?
weird tidbit
kaelâs eyes are not blue in warcraft 3 before ever being subjected to fel . in fact, his eyes dont glow at all. they are a dull white, like normal eyes without a pupil. yet a high elf emissary with glowing blue eyes is seen, who delivers him a message from the front!
so some of the high elves are at the front, though kaelâs forces have been ordered to repair the observatories. clearly thereâs already some weirdness going on in warcraft 3. surely kaelâthas wouldâve had blue glowy eyes. he was a premiere arcane user. i swear blizzardâs lore gives me a headache
they are still working with the alliance of lordaeron at the beginning of wc3
the emissary doesnt have elf eyebrows or elf ears. its weird
i know. and kaelâthas is a high elf. where are his arcane blue eye glows? why is the blue glowy eyed dude, not sporting elf ears or eyebrows? its like they already had some idea that dalaran high elves werenât full blooded elves, thus no elf eyebrows or pointy ears are visible (its a half elf)
I think the ambassador was a Kirin tor agent. I could be wrong but that doesnât mean he was a high elf.
We will see what they do to Kaelâthas in the wc3 reforged. Would make sense if he doesnât have green eyes from the get go.
right . he doesnt have green eyes. he should have blue arcane eyes. heâs a high elf. how come no blue glow. and yet a kirin tor agent (???) has the blue eye glow.
