It is asking for something new an interesting, not something which already exists after all.
half elves can give the existing high elves an actual story. Of how they have blended themselves into humans to the point they are no longer separate. Elisande brings this point up.

That’s something we have suggested a lot. One good example is the Outland High Elves possibly being more aggressive, since they survived on a broken piece of a planet, fighting against demons and orcs since they got there.

Maybe this seems like a way to go. Personally I don’t agree with it. If helfers want their Silver Covenant High elves on the Alliance then they should just stick to that. It’s not like our views against this matters for what you’re asking for. We don’t have any power so I don’t understand the ‘debate’ really. Only the devs have the power to make compromises with the players.
Hope that makes sense.
Many of us believe the High elves in and of themselves are interesting enough. I dont subscribe to the “cool” factor very much tbh. I can see why they have appeal to both sides though. I am not totally against them, just not my personal ideal is all.

THAT SAID I ninja in my thought that maybe, for Alliance High Elves, there could be marking for each CLASS! Or even SPECC, as well!
Hair, body markings, such as scars, warpaints, maybe even chipped ears. All the Exiled Elves will share the same body type. A bit stronger, standing like a human/nigh elf, straight and facing you, rather than their chest out and standing and facing you at an angle.

No, but when they are brought up in the discussion people find them more of a common ground with both sides. So naturally they get brought up in discussion.

me too. i’m just outlining other possibilities. i prefer normal high elves with variations to distinguish them from belfs and velfs. like curly hair styles. different stances. variations in skin color, up to a wrathion color. etc
