Ogres and Forest trolls are my most wanted horde races
People have been requesting it since TBC when people got salty about blood elves in the first place. WoW is a piece of art just like a book or a movie. Blizzard should have the creative freedom to take WoW where they want it to go. Having the race of high elves become corrupted and decimated by fel demons is a much more compelling story than Elf good - Orc bad. The high elves of the alliance do not really exist; the blood elves are the high elves. Silvermoon is the land of the high elves. Everyone else is either a traitor or a mercenary.
Again, just because a vocal minority requests something doesnât make it majority opinion. Lots of people do not want more elves in the game. We have no data to suggest that either side has superior numbers. So itâs a moot argument.
This game is already world of Elfcraft, just look at the most popular player races in the game.
Which is precisely why we need less elves.
Its Finally Back!
Right hmm forget about my other Thread seeing as how It was more of Question Thread than a Real One. So letâs get back to what we were doing.
By the way. As before until the last. I still Support High Elves. Whatever different kinds as long as theyâre not Blueberry or Horde Elves. I still support them atleast until they are made playable.
For the Alliance and for the Quelâdorei!
Silvermoon is the land of the Blood Elves. After the second war, Anestarian (King of the High Elves) split from the alliance because Lordaeron wouldnât commite genocide on the remaing orcs.
Gilneas and stromgarde also split has well.
However they were High Elves that didnât agree with their king, and left Quelâthals for the Alliance. These are the elves we want to play has.
They may be traitors to Quelâthalas, but they are has much has a core race has Humans and Dwarves.
As a matter of the whole elf population issue, I think the better way to fix that is improve the character creation for all races. Give more options, rather than keep it so limited.
Itâs a handful of a handful of elves. Itâs less than 10% of the less than 10% of elves who survived. The Blood Elves are the High Elves.
I know you do, which suggests that there are other races on the horde that people want to play as, equalizing with those that want to play as High Elves.
if the only reason previous thread has been locked and GM relentless to re-open it is because Hordlizzard donât like an idea, my friends in China would definitely find some laughingstocks towards âAmerican Free Speechâ
Anyway, welcome back to normal world guys.
donât forget this piece of art!

A wonderful piece of art as well.
And as always, continue my support on HE.
There you go and your welcome.
Took you long enough
Yay for High Elves, Half Elves, and everything in between.
Our last thread reached 450+ likes, lets beat that record shall we?
As always, High Elves rightfully deserve to be an Alliance Allied Race!
Iâve been playing this game for nearly a decade and I wasnât vocal about High Elves before, because I thought they had little to no chance of being playable because of being few in number compared to other Core Races and also the lack of their own capital city, but the Allied Race system changed all that!
High Elves fits perfectly as an Allied Race! They have their own leader, they have their own culture, they have some hubs spread across the game world, and they have their own reputation faction tied to them. Also, their population is either higher or identical to the Void Elves, the Magâhar and the Lightforged Draenei.
Thatâs probably why people are asking louder this time. Because High Elves was never meant to be a Core Race, but denying them as Allied Race is unacceptable!
Honestly if WoW 2.0 comes out, I want them to seriously improve the character customization.
Instead of allied races, have a sub race marker in the core race selected. They can choose where they come from to improve RP elements.Like this for example. Each back story can have their own custimzation

Well put and undeniable.
Same really. I always wanted them but figured that it could only happen if they ever implemented subraces or a variation thereof, so I didnât talk about it much.
I did mention it every time a discussion about it came up, and there have been a lot. High Elves were always the top choice in those polls.
Void elves proved that numbers donât matter.
BTW the population only counted for survivors of Quelâthalas, where the High elves we talk about werenât even there
Ya know⌠itâs a new thread⌠so how about we all agree to not discuss the same old tired topics like population again as a resolution.
