High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

I’m sorry, but what? Felblood Elves, certainly. Blood Elves? People named in honor of the fallen 90% of their race, and their king, evil?

No, I don’t think so any more than I think Alliance Good, Horde Evil.

I believe it have to do with the Silver Covenant and the Alliance champions charging the Jaina’s Staff of Antonidas with the power of the Thunder King, back in MoP.

Alamara can explain it better.

they start off as somewhat evil. the night elves start off good aligned, because they are dark elves. remember, it’s opposite world.

There are good and evil actions on both sides, but Alliance vs Horde isn’t Good vs Evil. I’m not at all sure where you got that from, but some links as to why you’re saying it would be helpful.

it is very simple. blood elves are high elves. the high elf fantasy is therefore available to anyone who wishes to partake of it. if you want to play a high elf but are not doing so, it is not because they arent available but because you have made the choice not to play them because they a part of the horde and not the alliance with the other pretty races

its literally in their race description at the character creation screen. blood elves are the high elves from the RTS games. blood elves are the elves who discovered quel’thalas and the sunwell. et cetera et cetera… huhh fax mentis incendium gloria culpum et cetera et cetera… huhh memo bis punitor delicatum! its all there black and white clear as crystal!

It is a bit even handed on who joins in the forum, lol wouldnt be too hard to name all of us crazies

I do wonder though, its hard to have the stamina sometimes to get in little arguments all the time though. Especially when its the same stuff over and over.

Either way both pro and antis on here are awesome cuz we keep this thread rolling along

You’re right, it is simple. Void Elves are High Elves, too.

And if Void Elves are High Elves, then this statement from you is patently false. Further, it turns your entire position into a No True Scotsman fallacy.

i dont want to take the thread off topic. but that video of behind the scenes for vanilla wow and the one for tbc, explains alot of this. want me to relink them?

the point is, nowhere else in rpg lands, that i’m aware of, do orcs, trolls, minotaurs and goblins, get the honorable tag. and dark elves are good and the closer you get to traditional good aligned elf normally, the closer you are to being rather evil. only wow.

And that, Hyper, is where we play. Not D&D, not EQ, not LotRO…we play Warcraft.

And yes, if you have links that demonstrate your point - given all of the sidebar conversations in this thread already - no one’s going to give you any crap for posting them.

Considering everything them and their king did in BC? Yes, evil. After that they had their redemption and i wouldn’t call them evil after that, they become Horde Humans, the light of the Horde. The difference is that Humans are relevant in the plot and story of the faction they are.

I dont really think anyone here is in denial that the blood elves are with the horde… it is mostly stated that they are aligned with the horde because of sylvanas, and she was the only one interested in helping with the defense of quel’thalas hence why the forsaken were in the ghostlands.

how belves became pallies is a big point of this imo. not that later the naaru sarcificed iteslf for them. but initially.

don’t say this. now all the helfers are gonna troll about sylvie again blaming her for belves joining the horde. :frowning:

Also, Liadrin and her Blood Knights burned a sacred place for Humans in Stratholme with no provocation, and then someone come here to say they weren’t evil? What the hell…

belves got the most ridiculous redemption arc. imo.

We have completely different opinions on Sylvanas, but that’s okay, and I am glad you post here and support us.

So Dwarves are evil then?

To an earlier point of high elf and night elf relations being smoothed out there is a night elf in the silver covenant.

I am not going to make a mountain out of an ant hill though becuase this is on example. I just really like the idea of the High elves getting along with the highborne in the night elf camp.

Dark irons kind of are lol… as much as i hate goblins, i dont know if i would have used a large fire elemental to put a bunch out of their misery either haha :stuck_out_tongue:
