Regardless of your subjective feelings, High Elves still exist on the alliance till this day.
As if more options for superficiality wouldn’t generate more revenue by nature of itself lol.

It’s like you are telling me you lack imagination, that anything you can’t fathom is bad. Considering that we see the Demons using Broken for their rituals, it’s almost like they let them breed enough to be useful rather than needlessly wiping a resource.
Also, yeah, nothing says that Argus got bereft of spirit and lots its elementals; considering that elementals are inextricably linked to nature, they do regardless of its state.

That would be cool but it doesn’t have precedent. They didn’t give Kul Tirans two models after all.

To me it would just be another instance of blizzard F ing themselves over because there will be a request for the other undead elf model if they don’t get both or in the case of darkfallen combining them into a singular model taking attributes of both.
Blizzard follows a pattern in general, and the most obvious one is that they’ve been reusing the existing base races as core, presenting them in pairs and with some level of correlation.
Nightborne and Void Elves were based on Night Elves and Blood Elves respectively, and they were part of the first Allied Race announcements, so it stands to reason that the next in line for 3.0s are once again Night Elves and Blood Elves.
So that would bring us to Undead Night Elves and High Elves.
Again, this would be THEIR logic. I think Undead High Elves for Horde are far more relevant, but perhaps they dont want to base the pair on the same core race.

BlizzCon will be great no matter what. It’ll either be hilarious or hype for me. Doubt that High Elves will actually be announced, but a small part of me remains hopeful. I’d rather not get my spirit crushed again

Yeah, that’s how I feel as well. Though, the only thematic that would hype me is either High Elves or World Revamp. I really don’t care about what story or characters the next expansion has in store. I’m hoping for more game system changes, in fact, groundbreaking game system changes.
Neither Lich King, Dragon Aspects, Sylvanas nor Void Lords will save this game if it remains unfun as it is right now.

For High Elves, I only hope if they’re not planning anything for them, at least, they’ll not mock us about it either. I’m sick of Blizzard’s constant mocking against their players.

Oh right… I should have also mentioned a world revamp.
THAT would be awesome.
oh… and #5… Dragon updates. For real… maybe when they update the High Elf model to make it playable, they’ll also update the Dragon mortal forms that use them. Nothing more hilarious than seeing that placeholder Night Elf voiceline.
