They really don’t have much story that isn’t the Blood Elf story, or just a way to let Alliance players into the Blood Elf story. I’ve seen a lot of posters arguing they should have shamans and druids too.
And at the current rate, if we were to see LF high elves they’d be from the Blood Elves not the remaining Alliance high elves. Some of the Blood Elves look like they’re already half way there.
High Elves precede Blood Elves, and the Blood Elves having no actual place of their own against the Alliance basically necessitated Blizzard forming the High Elves as their antagonist… as nothing else would make sense.
So this point of argumentation is moot. High Elves and Blood Elves exist because of one another and have furthered each other’s stories. That only one is playable is why this particular option is such a sore spot for many.
Quick question, why is this going on so fast when the Outer Worlds came out the other day and at least on PC you can play it for $1 (with the pc xbox game pass beta thingy)?
As a Captain Alex Hawthorne, I approve of this game.
I was the one who brought up the notion of High Elves being Lightforged, and if you want to contest it, tell me why the playable Lightforged being new recruits seemingly conflicts with High Elves but not Draenei, arbitrarily.
I did read the whole thing and all it did was reinforce the idea that you thought Blizz should have went with LF HE instead of the obvious stars of Argus LF Draenei.
Not a clue, I honestly thought it would be Void Broken. I’m happy it wasn’t cause I get to have a pretty elf on the Alliance.
I mean, you are being simply over dramatic about the entire thing. Again, holistically, they are just sifferent colored orcs.
Jist like how lfd, are didderent colored dranei.
Alliance players are the only ones who go, OMFG 6 IN 1 MAGHAR. Horde players go, so…alternate reality, and theh could have just been new orc options. Woopee…
Not sure why ylu think blood elves with gold eyes implies lightforged high elves…
Blizz also said why they went witb void elves instead of high elves
When the whole point of contention is that Blizzard changed their plans, then using Blizzard’s PR to argue against it is hilarious as much as it is naive.
The game provided exceptional context - more than we’ve seen in many of their implementations - for LF DRaenei being a thing. They actually make perfect sense given the Draenei/Naaru/Light relationship. You’re arguing that isn’t the case because it doesn’t make sense to you that High Elves did not get it, even though there are none playable to be LF.
Also, last time I looked you’re not wearing a badge that says Internet Sheriff so perhaps I’ll just comment as I see fit. Even if High Elves were playable, it would have made no sense to make them LF before Draenei. Nothing is off about that unless simply making sense seems off to you.
We can only go based on what theyve said. Your theory is just that, a theory. It can go both ways, but one is more supported. Otherwise, you come off sounding like a delusional guy who thinks he knows the truth.
Yes the exceptional context being half a zone that just expands on Draenei Light worship to the point of zealotry.
Also, Arator.
Also, I explained why it makes sense. Your rigid stance is just reinforcing the notion of you and your ilk having the imagination of a squirrel, which totally explains why you spend months arguing against the obvious.
